Damn it he had the arm there, second time the slam saves Castillo

Castillo winning but is this the best strat? Scary.

Yeah he's makin me sweat.

That armbar wasn't particularly close, he really only had the forearm.

20-18 Castillo showin why he shoulda been -200.

Even if Castillo wins he shouldn't have been -200, Sass wins the fight if he can maintain the triangle through the slam right at the start

I should have taken Sass ITD though rather than straight up I guess if I was going to

Down to Silva/Sonnen style triangle outs now

The ref seems stupid. Outta position end of rd

lol if sass wins by wheel kick i will be so happy

sass's standup seems better, but it's way too late for a decision

too much sweat for a sub i think its prob over

Castillo is lucky he sweats a lot Sass would have got him there if he didn't slip off

Castillo 30-27.

If you don't think he deserved to be -200 you're outta your mind. He played Sass' game for like 13 of the 15 minutes and won easily.

Cliffs: Never back fighters who have to win from guard. Second straight fight I've put multiple units against Sass and came out good. Think I have profit locked in for this card now, nice to have after 2 straight bloodbaths -_-

and ggwp castillo, and i'm getting lolcrushed

i'll probably end up going huge on poirier or barao now unless some other fight strikes my fancy before then

think you're being a bit results oriented, he may have been a fav but sass had multiple close sub attempts and the first one DOES finish it if the slam isn't good

also LOL 29-28 wat

Really only the first triangle and maybe one of the heel hooks were even worrisome. Most of the rest were easily shrugged off. I'm basing it off what we saw in there, guy gave Sass 13 minutes to sub him and he got his face elbowed in. That's a -200 favorite if I ever saw one.

I gotta say tho, based on some of these early scorecards it looks like hometown decisions could be a big concern here. If anyone gave Sass a round there, they should have their credentials suspended, just terrible scoring.

Going full degen today, another 2u on Poirier, 4.5u on Barao and 1u on Mills

I might add more on Mills if he looks good/focused during walk-outs etc

If it wasn't in England i'd probably take Riddle even as it's getting close to evens but home judges + Mills does have better striking and Riddle could show up in any shape really

Forte's gonna need some luck here but gl to him, I love the TUF Brazil guys

10-9 Forte, surprising. OFC this is a fight I have 0.1u on lol

No chance in hell for McDonald, he has one path to victory, put Barao out cold early. If not, it's going to be a one sided beatdown. I think true line is more like -400

Yeah, so Daniel Sarafian dominated this guy, then lost by split decision to CB Dollaway. FML

just added another 2.5u on renan at -290.
MMA Thread Quote
02-16-2013 , 03:58 PM
ok gogo mills

i may end up parlaying everything that hits into Renan, i mean, he's a monster who made faber look like an amateur, he's won 31 fights in a row, he finished brad pickett, picked apart jorgsensen, finished cariaso, has a win over Rony Jason who is crushing FW atm... McDonald's best win is a past his prime Miguel Torres. I'm not denying McDonald is good, but i'd take Faber over him at evens and we saw what Barao did to Faber.

Fading some serious steam here on Mills. -275 at one point now -110 lol

Only 1 unit though, Poirier and Barao are the big ones

If Mills wins I might put it on Diabate, who sucks, but is a more proven commodity than Manuwa and does have power and is facing a striker

Steam still coming, should have waited on Mills he'll close a dog at this rate

Another 0.3u Mills and 0.1u Santiago
MMA Thread Quote
02-16-2013 , 04:19 PM
lol should have just taken riddle at +160 or so like i considered rather than fading myself

mills need to be more aggressive
MMA Thread Quote

Should prolly be 10-9 Riddle based solely off last minute or so, was basically even before that.

Riddle looking like great value at +200 tho.

As I said before fight, if Riddle fights smart he's the favorite.
