Hermans corner thinks he won the round - unlikely in brazil even though it was close

Great round of grappling, not a huge nog fan but great to see him pick up a submission win in brazil

MINOTAUROOOOOOOOOOOO

Nice roll into the armbar, Herman's better on the ground than I thought. I think I got it in good on the under despite the result.

WTF? He was safe, why did he roll...

love it how herman said " **** me " after he gave up

Doubt he was safe.

Nog is so much slower than before, especially his transitions. And even now he's killing mid tier fighters, really puts in perspective Fedor's dominance in pride.

He should have just grinded out the 50sec instead of trying to escape .. So tilting.. Oh well time for silva to repeat the forest griffin fight

It's okey though, Herman is getting a title shot after this fight, dude keeps losing and gets better and better opponents.

+3u or so for the card, will either end up +4 or +2 depending whether Bonnar can last 8 minutes. Put a very small partial on Bonnar of a few dollars as a hedge so I can cheer for him just incase he wins inside the 8 mins somehow

I've been loving the grappling in some of these fights. the 2nd round of nog/herman was great, and fitch/silva had some awesome back and forth grappling, as well as fitch constantly working to advance and looking for openings to finish. Maia's sub was sick too.

Bet he could have grinded it out for 50sec, nog really woulda had to work that arm to get it in.

I think Bonnar may put on an impressive performance.

Silva will win but it won't look like the Griffin fight

agreed, Bonnar is actually better than Forrest at this stage of their careers

I hope he can last the distance and put on a good show at least. I think he will eat a lot of punches and lose a 30-27 but I hope he puts on a good show along the way. Who knows, it's MMA, anything is possible.

Added 2.5u on Silva at -1000, money coming in on Bonnar.

EDIT: Also need Silva to hit a 5 fight, 3.5 to 1 parlay

I expect Bonnar to try a Sonnen, he'll attack the whole time as he has nothing to lose and Anderson doesn't like grinding fights.

But Anderson is in Rio and may decide to turn God mode on......

Put a full unit on bonnar for the glory

He needs to fight as fitch did, just attack and try to be as close to him as possible and not allow him to do what he likes, and what Erick silva likes, staying on the outside in his element. If he can do that, he has a slim chance of winning.
