Well anyone that hasn't been finished in 23 fights due to KO/TKO probably has a decent chin. Secondly, in the fight vs Nate, he didn't get rocked or knocked down in the first round, he just got tagged consistently w jabs and combos and I think that says a lot about his chin, the amount of dmg he took and he didn't go down.
While the diaz brothers aren't known for power punching, a well placed punch can still KO/knock down an opponent, just look at Nick vs Daley, Lawler or when Nate faced Gomi or Miller(who is also known for having a good chin) and dropped him with his combo.
So yeah, I def think his chin reputation is well deserved and is going to be a factor in the match. With that said, I agree with guillard being too much of a dog(though this was before the weigh-ins, idk now).

Lentz, okami, Dennis and Donald in my parlay. small bets on Edgar, Herman and max. Thoughts?

lol? Cerrone's chin is godly. Diaz drops people all the time and Cerrone took dozens of power punches from him.

I scored Edgar vs Henderson 48-47 for Edgar soooo it was definitely really close. Henderson was the better fighter in that he did more damage and won rounds by greater margins but I did think Edgar did enough to win 3 of the rounds.

I'll tail Chris' Kuiper pick so gogogo database :P

I'm super-heavy on Okami and Lentz. Their opponents are way outclassed, IMO.

Also have plays on Cerrone, Bermudez, Pague, Hamman, Hendo by UD, and Hendo/Edgar to start round 3.

Looking for a few sweats tonight and took the following....any problems with these as I don't know what I am really doing in MMA?

Edgar +175 over Henderson
SHields -155 over Herman
Holloway -140 over Lawrence
Kuiper -135 over Hamman
Camus +150 over Pague

My biggest play is an Okami/Lentz parlay.

@yea your bets look ok to me, though you are on the wrong end of some steam on Holloway and Kuiper.

My only bet on this card is Guillard and now that he missed weight I feel like I'm on the wrong side. Plus I'm well under current lines.

I was planning on betting Shields but I got a weird gut feeling like something is off with him lately so I passed.

My biggest ever MMA bet is on Henderson tonight. Completely agree with the people saying how the first fight was nowhere near a controversy and in terms of what should happen then Edgar does not deserve a rematch straight away. Granted, I'm glad he is because the first fight was brilliant and this should be the same.

Just love how the UFC 150 trailer on Shogun/Vera the other night was edited so it seemed like the closest of decisions when it wasn't even close.

And after watching UFC 150 countdown, Edgar needs coaches that see through unbiased eyes because I don't know what the hell they were on about when they thought Edgar had easily won!

If the first fight wasn't close how come more than a few people scored it for Frank Edgar...?

Sigh skipped prelims would have picked all of the winners so far

I'm on Lawrence for a unit @ +146 (call it a gut feeling), Edgar at +185 for 3u and Shields at -16x for 2.5u, plus the Cerrone/Guillard o1.5 @ -130ish I think from memory for 0.9u

Small betting card for me but it'll do. Time for Frankie to win his belt back. He'll win the FW title from Aldo one day, but not until he cleans out the LW division!

Nervous moments for Okami backers there. Lucky that Buddy couldn't stop Yushin taking him to the ground.

@SCHWEDEN i like it at that price gonna tail it for 0.1u to win a unit and change

I would have crushed the undercard too but didnt bet it sadly.

Up a unit or so so far, a partial on Okami/Roberts u2.5 and Shields won, Lawrence lost so far.

Put a small partial on Guillard, got the over 1.5 and Edgar for the last two fights

I gotta give myself credit for this one.

I am going absolutely nuts this card, up 8u.

Got a 40:1 8 fighter parlay that's down to Edgar so I'm just gonna hedge out for a bit obv now on Henderson.
