Ugh. Can't believe that actually happened. Another split decision and Lewis gets it (two x 29-28, one x 28-29).

wow that was complete BS , how can you give rd 3 to Lewis he connected 2x on Nelson but apart from that Roy controlled the entire round. Adelayde Bird got it right too lol

Only Byrd judged Nelson via Racism lol

Jesus what a sick decision. Judges FML. Had Nelson by decision.

i think im more shocked by adelayde bird with the dissenting position for Nelson in the split.

Well thats disappointing, last minute from Nelson costs me a huge win including the decision prop

Down about 1u for the card now

Good decision though imo

To be honest I am also a bit disgusted by John McCarthy , I know for a few years he has been trying to make fights exciting but when a guy's entire strategy consists on damaging his opponent against the cage and improving position on the ground he just ruins fights.

Nelson was doing damage not just stalling.

Some were impressed by Lewis's last minute or so than Nelson in the first three minutes. Meh.

I had the bet on Nelson and Nelson DEC but scored it for Lewis. He at least connected a few times standing and if Roy had landed ANY significant gnp at all or a sub attempt it would have been a lock but he literally did nothing with the takedowns. It was enough to overcome one or two punches but Lewis landed a few at the end. I'd have been fine with Nelson getting the dec too though it was def an either way one. Lewis landed what 51 to 4 strikes or something though for the fight you can hardly argue against giving it to him although under 10 pt it was either way spot

+1 unusual Byrd scores it for the white guy

Ugh, FFS - Nelson decision there would have guaranteed profit on the card for me. Looking more like break even or small loss unless Alvarez gets up now.

what were the odds on the roy nelson fight?
MMA Thread Quote

1u RDA -280

Gets me almost exactly even for the card if he wins, and i'll be down 3.8u or so if he loses.

Just not sure anyone other than Khabib can beat RDA right now if he's as good as his last 5 performances. He didn't look the best at weigh ins but i've been wrong to fade him before so hopefully i'm right to bet on him

Alvarez hasn't been that impressive in his UFC run so far imo

Nelson was -130 or so

Dec prop was +690 that was def good with his gameplan, straight up not so much although it went roughly how I thought it would except I thought standup would be closer with Lewis edging it rather than dominant

Silva v Cormier is official apparently: http://www.mmafighting.com/2016/7/7/...-title-bout-at

Haven't seen any markets for it yet but Cormier and it's not even close, right?

Nelson got as high as -110 not long before the fight (added another half a unit at that price), I had him by decision at +650 too.

Over 1.5 rounds wins to offset it a little but still - Derrick Lewis just isn't supposed to win decisions dammit! :P

Wow. Didn't see that coming. Four in a row for underdogs in main events now? Yikes.

Holy hell Alvarez!

That'll put it back to about break even for the card :P

yea he wasnt taking too many clean shots, he was taking some tho, and i guess that was enough.

i wouldnt have stopped it til he dropped tho ala ben henderson, seemed a bit too early.

I believed in Eddie, I should have put more on the ML or KO prop. Whole card submission props made the night for me, gonna add it up shortly. Would have been a lot more if Roy Nelson got that decision.

Omg I'm actually even more excited for UFC200 now. Even though over the hill and washed up but Anderson is my fav. Love this match up.

No lose situation for him. He's expected to lose and will have tons of excuses. On the off chance he might luckbox and bink Jone's belt Lol

Can't wait for the main card!!!!!!!!

Minor downer on the belt point - it's at light heavyweight, but it's a non-title fight.

Can't see anywhere whether it'll be three rounds or five, and I assume Lesnar-Hunt stays as the main event.

Pretty absurd its at 205 but a non title fight, Cormier is a horrible matchup for Anderson, but i'll watch anyway.

Nightmare scenario for the UFC if Anderson wins, LHW will have a double paper champion (never avenged the Jones loss despite Jones probably juicing, and if he loses to a career MW too)

Lost something like 3.8u for the card, Nelson not getting the dec hurt and last minute RDA bet as well was stupid should have trusted my instincts that something looked wrong with RDA at weighin.
