my testacies feel numb from shock, bank is a little lighter from two decent bets.

f mma betting man you bet the winner the loser wins, you bet the under dog value the winner trashes him, you need to make huge multi way bets like jim to get ahead and my depth of fighter knowledge is not at that level.

no more sports betting for me I have to take a 12 month study break next year and take a ccnp or maybe ccie written so no more flushing money down the toilet like I know what Im doing.

I have no idea how to bet mma.

how can bisping be middle weight champ, he is ****.

Pretty crazy at the top now. Jacare is out injured but has a claim to #1 contender, Weidman hasn't fought since losing the belt, Rockhold just lost by R1 TKO and Anderson is out as well and is coming off a close 48-47 loss to the champ

Any of the three of them could lay claim to being #1 contender

Then there's Romero who is coming off a win over Jacare but got popped for failing a drug test, Whittaker who was scheduled to fight Bisping in Australia, Belfort who is coming off losses but has a KO win over Bisping and Hendo who won tonight and has a KO over Bisping as well.

You could argue 7 different guys could get a title shot and it would be somewhat justified (all of the guys listed above except Belfort really)

Is this real life? My feed was a few minutes behind but wow. Rockhold took some shots on the ground too before the ref stopped it. When will fighters learn to stop underestimating your opponent?

Anderson's last win vs a Middleweight is Chael 2 in 2012. Wouldn't be surprised if he got a shot, but it absolutely wouldn't be justified.

Bisping vs Henderson in Wembley (or someplace similar) blah blah blah about Henderson not deserving it. It's a fight a lot of people would like to see and I know Bisping would sign up for that.

Remember, at the end of the day, the UFC is a business

I like Hendo fighting for the belt in his (hopefully) farewell fight.

It's the best sell and nobody else has a worthwhile claim.

Remember when MW was the most loaded division?

Dan Henderson would probably postpone 'going out at the top' with a title shot right now. I believe Dan had stated that he wouldn't give Michael Bisping a second fight thus a chance of redemption by beating him. *COUGH*

Three UFC events in a row that the underdog wins the main event (Miocic, Garbrandt and now Bisping).

I think they should do Bisping vs Hendo 2 as well if they can set it up quickly assuming neither guy sustained any injuries, it's not really deserved but Rockhold doesn't deserve an immediate rematch after losing in r1 and never defending the title, Weidman is in the same boat (hasn't fought since being finished for the title), Anderson just lost to Bisping and it was close so that would be fine given his GOAT status at MW and him arguably KOing Bisping in r3 before losing a 47-48 but as said above he hasn't won a fight that matters in forever, Romero failed a drug test and Jacare is injured.

I'd set up Rockhold vs Anderson, Weidman, Romero or Jacare for #1 contender, whichever of the three of them is available first as they're all either injured or suspended

Whittaker's close-ish to a shot too but the division is too stacked at the top just let him co-main the next big Australia card or main event if it's a fight night against someone like the Mousasi/Brunson winner or one of the four mentioned above

As much as they're arguably not in the top 3 fighters in the division i'd be fine with Bisping vs Hendo 2, if they're ever going to make it the time is now

It's still loaded it's just Rockhold just lost the belt and the arguably next 4 best guys are all injured or suspended (Weidman, Anderson, Jacare, Romero)

I thought Green was as dumb as it could get tonight. Then Lombard just stands in front of Hendo. And then Rockhold shows up so casual that he gets KTFO by Michael Bisping.

Great card.

An "OUCH!!" for Ariel Helwani who, alongside E. Casey Leydon and Esther Lin, has seemingly been banned from covering UFC events/fired by Zuffa for whatever reason.

Who's fighting Brock Lesnar!? Apparently the frontrunner is Mark Hunt but the likes of Josh Barnett, Shane Carwin and Todd Duffee would love to welcome Brock Lesnar back to the UFC.

Apparently that's the case. Can Ariel claim 'unfair dismissal' or do UFC have something on Helwani?

'Fight of the Night' was given to Marco Polo Reyes vs. Dong Hyun Kim...I don't remember the last time a non-televised fight got this particularly on a PPV. Dan Henderson and Michael Bisping win the POTN bonuses.

Does anyone have a link to the UFC 200 promo/announcement for Lesnar?

I guess the level of opponent they give Brock depends on whether it's a one fight deal or he's coming back full time. Todd Duffee, Josh Barnatt and Mark Hunt all being discussed and Mir has to be possible if it's Lesnar

Without Conor they definitely needed this on the card for it to do 1m+ buys again, I don't think they get to 1.6m without Conor even with Brock's return but it's live to again and it's arguably the best UFC card of all time. If they somehow get Fedor as Brock's opponent that would be huge

He can't be fired as he was not employed by Zuffa unless they own mmafighting.com

Basically its like the NFL banning Chris Mortensen cause he scooped them

Forgot Mir is suspended so it's not going to be him vs Lesnar, apparently Lesnar remains under UFC contract but got permission to be on UFC 200 as a one off so should be a legit opponent then in case it's one and done for Lesnar

Carwin wants it but we've seen that fight. Fedor would be best, Werdum would be a fun fight too although maybe too high level for Lesnar's return and Werdum just got KO'd. I hope it's not Duffee he isn't interesting enough to me. Barnett i'm still not sure. Hunt would be fine imo, would come down to whether Hunt can land the kill shot before Lesnar takes him down with a power double because if he does, Hunt is probably going to look like he did against Stipe after a round on the bottom against Lesnar

Will be very interesting to see how Lesnar looks, he's older and on long layoff but has less diverticulitis issues, so could be better or worse

Super fun card. Lost a lot of bets though and doubled down with live betting, especially on Cole Miller at crazy odds who was so close to locking in that submission and Clay Guida who was twenty plus seconds away from cruising to a decision. And then had way too much on Urijah Faber after that. Thankfully Bisping and Bisping in round 1 saved this from being a near record breaking loss to only a significant loss of -8.14 units. Besides loading on on Urijah, my only other regret is not live betting Hendo after round 1 at big odds!

Kudos to Bisping, I think I said somewhere in this thread Bisping was never going to win the title so I guess I have to eat my words. Really glad when these type of fighters win the belt.

Also how has Holloway not gotten a titleshot yet?!?! He's won 9 in a row...

I don't think anyone can tbh. Rockhold had his number the whole fight with those body kicks, you could see them visibly hurting Bisping but he persisted and this just goes to show anything can happen in MMA.

Well yeah no one is dominant but I think the bisping win was kinda I don't wanna use the word fluke as he earned the victory but at the same time he isn'the top 3 imo.

And all are beasts in their own rights. Middleweight (even during Anderson Silva's reign of terror) was a stacked division for the UFC, and still is.
