Tried to hit the -280 or whatever, then it was -350, then -380 but added on 0.3u at -380 anyway

Doctor may stop it and if not he's not going to win

LOL doctor stopping it now easiest bet ever. Hope it stands

Cant believe they tried to argue with the doctor then, good stoppage.

Snap taking Ngannou if they fight. He needs to work on his TDD but is WAY more athletic and technical. I think Ngannou could be top 15 in a couple years if he works on his TDD and BJJ

Regardless if he could see or not... the ref has no business offering his opinion when the doc says the fights over.

I'm definitely going to make sure I check every round on 5d from now on that -2xx (even though I missed it and got -380) was just ridiculous given Ngannou was up 2 rounds and Blaydes could barely see, and is primarily a wrestler

Exactly, I literally could not believe the ref trying to get involved.

He does have the physical advantage and possibly desire (who knows if Gonzaga cares anymore) but Gonzaga is infinitely more skilled in all areas, it's basically talent vs chin+power which is dangerous at HW but remember Lewis nearly got subbed by Ruan Potts and was KO'd by Shawn Jordan. Gonzaga is a dog on the feet but live, and if it gets to the mat once Gonzaga is a huge favourite to sub him or GnP him until its over

I think this is the definition of a pick'em fight, so i'm happy with Gonzaga at +135 (i'd happily take Lewis at +135 too)

Oh wow, Lewis actually stood up. Stick to him like glue manbearpig

Yeah, Gonzaga wants no part of the standup, which is actually a good gameplan. Keep on the fence.

Derrick Lewis is really the worst fighter to have as many wins as he has

That said if I knew Gonzaga would get 1 takedown in the fight and land in side control i'm happy with my bet he at least gameplanned his chin is just gone

Going to double down on JDS if I like his confidence during the walkout

I could go for Lewis vs Ngannou after those last two. Size and power vs technique. Someone would go to sleep. I feel like someone as big as Lewis with any technique at all would wreck him. Mark Hunt for example would deliver the walk away KO within a round

Good win for Lewis though impressive he got back to his feet. I expected Gonzaga to jump on his back and try and get the hooks in when he was on his back but I guess thats more of a FLW thing than a HW thing

I don't think lewis beats anyone in the top 15 except maybe Mir if he can just hulk smash him quickly. I suppose he could connect on Arlovski or Reem's chin too but both of them would easily out-work him. Actually that's a good next fight for Lewis, the loser of that one. Maybe Roy Nelson?

you wouldnt think of him as a super smart guy but lewis just made a very smart callout since nelson is a slam dunk win for him

Lewis is an example of the reason why the HW division lacks so many good athletes. He was offered a boxing deal from George Foreman yet elected to stick with MMA. He's an idiot... as he'd be making far more in boxing then MMA.

Think about how many HW fighters choose other sports due to money? If the UFC paid better we'd have far more talent.
