On that note, UFC seems to have finally thrown PVZ into the deep end with Namajunas replacing Calderwood...

Rose is probably one of the best fighters in history with a 3-2 professional record?

Granted she went 3-0 on TUF vs legit comp so it's actually 6-2 they just don't count since they were exhibition bouts

Not sure which way I lean on Rose vs PVZ, I guess either Rose SUB or Paige Decision or very late TKO?

Will be interested to see the Rose wins in r1/SUB and Paige points spread lines

Not Rousey in r1 is +225, tempting price if you actually think Holm survives a round shane

I'll tell you what female challenger at UFC 193 does survive a round, and that's Valerie Letourneau against Joanna Champion. Val has made me a lot of money in her three UFC wins so far and I intend to keep the train going. I'm not at all scared to hit the Fight Starts Round 2 prop at -262 to win a full unit. Val's kickboxing and defense is good enough to not get finished that fast and make it competitive for 2-3 rounds in all likelihood.

I tend to agree and I also think that I may even play Valerie to win especially if her price keeps rising, JJ should win, but there is no way on earth she is a bigger favourite than Rousey like the odds say right now

Wow, Khabib is out, that sucks

It sucks that we may never find out if Khabib is the best at LW, I guess he has a win over RDA but unless he ever holds the belt we can't really say he was conclusively the #1 LW in the world

He said he doesnt know if he'll ever be back, I hope he does but sounds like he's out for a long time

Unknown replacement for Ferguson at this time, huge win for Ferguson tbh whoever he draws has to be an easier fight and if he wins this one he should get a title shot

Also JJ likes to feel out her opponents for the first rd and then press the action once she's got the distance sorted. Also she's actually very cautious with her strikes. She often lands her spectacular combos and then back off to gauge the effect of them. She doesn't follow her opponents to the ground if they're dazed but lets them get up for more beating. Safe game plan and very effective for her as no one is better on their feet then her ainec.

This seems like a good bet.

JJ/Val over 2.5r is my favourite bet in a while. Neither person has 1 punch KO power and neither person is ultra dangerous with a quick sub.

I think this will be a back and forth standup war that will end in 4th or 5th or maybe even go to dec.

I'm a little leery of the over 2½ at +105. Joanna finished both Carla Esparza & Jessica Penne in rounds 2 & 3 respectively. I'd personally feel safer betting Fight Starts Round 3 at -122.

Barboza has now been confirmed for that one: http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/10/3...-tony-ferguson

Huge bummer that Khabib is out again

CES MMA 31 is tonight on AXS TV at 9 PM EDT. I have a few dog plays for action, wouldn't call these tail worthy.

Chip Moraza-Pollard (+240) vs Gil de Freitas $50.00 for $120.00
Mike Mucitelli (+180) vs Greg Rebello $50.00 for $90.00
Aaron Johnson (+180) vs Eric Spicely $50.00 for $90.00

Also a little boxing play for the heavyweight fight on the PBC on Bounce TV card at 9 PM:

Malik Scott (+105) vs Tony Thompson $50.00 for $52.50

Barboza vs Ferguson is a better matchup, at least in terms of both being entertaining strikers. Ferguson has the stronger ground game, but i have a feeling this will be contested entirely on the feet.

shame about guys like Khabib & Cruz, losing so many of their prime years due to being so injury prone

Was going to put a sweat on McSweeney but odds seem to be down on 5d for some reason

They pulled the lines before the event even started. BM had them up longer but all pulled now as well.

Wonder if there was word of a fixed fight or something or whether they just took them down for some other reason

Saw the McSweeney fight, I actually looked away for a sec and missed the finish. McSweeney's opponent seemed... not that good.

I know Elliot is friends with McSweeney so congrats on a good day!

I know this is the wrong thread but if anyone is interested I have 2 tickets for ufc 194.

I can't attend as I have other obligations. Its Mcgregor vs Aldo and the card is stacked and it is sold out!

I have them posted on viagogo etc as well but thought I'd try here and give/get a good deal as these sites have a large fee usually.

I have been a member on this site for years but just have been inactive in the past few years due to me stopped playing poker.

PM me if interested. accepting paypal, bitcoin and stars

Would be for sure if I was in Vegas. Maybe if I win the Sunday Million today.

194 is the best card in a long time, hope it lives up to expectations and doesn't get any significant injuries
