Siver has shortest reach in the division and landed some nice counters and multiple leg kicks.
As a medium level wrestler also got 2 takedowns. Edgar and Chad stay on top from those which is whyh he hasn't fought them

Mcgreggor has legit power but I doubt any more than the shots Chad hit aldo with last fight.

I think we see Aldo leg kick and dominate a retreating connor.

I'm sure loads of money will come in on Connor close to the fight I expect aldo at around +125/150ish fight night.

Edgar and Mendes would have owned Connar tonight and it wouldn't even be close. Edgar on the feet and the ground and Mendes by the ground. Both of those TD attempts by Siver would have landed for either of these 2 easily.

Aldo being a primarily standup guy is a dream matchup for Connar as Edgar would be his kryptonite but no matter as Siver landed enough to convince me that Aldo will hit him more than enough times to get the nod + the leg kicks will murder him.

-250 Aldo is a steal and the odds are going to be better than that.

This is how I see it to. The good news for AS is Diaz doesn't throw all of his juice into any 1 punch so he should be ok to take a few.

Say what you will, but McGregors path hasn't been a piece of cake, he hasn't fought a single can en route to a championship fight. He's dispatched of two top 10 fighters, and one top 15, so easily.

I mean, Poirer hasn't been run over by anone, and he's also fought 2 top 5 fighters in cub and Korean Zombie. Cub also fought a competetive fight with Siver. These are 2 fighters that Conor just walked over.

With that said, question still remains, how does he fight against the top 3 fighters who imo are seperated from the top 10 rankings, namely Aldo, Mendes, and Aldo, by one skill level. Don't think the wrestling will stiffle him that much, he showed great hips and bounced right back from the ground when Siver got a takedown. We saw that at high levels, a fight is rarely decided by wrestling (other than a fighter getting a takedown and stealing the round, I'm more talking about dominating the fight with wrestling) nowadays, since it's easier to defend takedowns than get takedowns.

Perez was a big let down. Don't know what I saw in him. Soriano started really well. Even dominated the grappling department in the first round. Then gassed totally. GG. Cerrone lost but I take it. 2015 total = -9u

Hoping for Mendes -200, Masvidal +100 and Chiesa +100, would be happy to get any of those prices or better.

McGregor is +161 and climbing vs Aldo after opening +100; I will probably play him at +175 or better which I think i'll be able to get as most hardcore fans think he's been protected/won't beat Aldo etc, I see it as more of a flip and think Edgar is a worse MU for him than Aldo
