Lots of reasons for sure JK for AP finishing 2nd and i have not read anything anywhere because i watched the race and it was over for 3 sec and i had all electronics shut down and was back to getting sick. Some days i take a real azz kickin and yesterday was my turn again i guess
Watched replay this morning, have read no comments anywhere and if i am out of line in my thinking here let me know but i think VE got AP beat by not doing his homework. It was a contended lead throughout AP was pressured by Frosted but when Frosted moved and put a half body in front way to early in the last turn i am of the opinion VE should of just remained patient because in his head he has to be thinking Frosted might just "hit it" again like he did in Florida and stop and trust when you ask AP to move he will go right on by Frosted. I thought VE moving with Frosted cost him because he did just that and rallied to beat Frosted and the wire was suppose to be right there and glory etc etc...but with VE moving at same time he came up that last 100 short and you could see he was short and ALL heart by reaching for something that was not there (LOVED SEEING THAT) but KI ran a perfect race and did what KI does. Very happy for DR he is such a stand up quality horseman imo. I have to think either VE felt he had to move there with Frosted or misjudged it as i am thinking or AP just was not the same which is fine he had nothing left to show me but still did in a big way and everyone else with an eye for excellence and that is the heart of a champ.
4/6 PK 6...3/4 PK4...Was singled to AP for PK4 $22 x5 $110 ticket.
