Hey guys, I've been really interested in sports betting recently, placed my first couple of arbs last week and would like to get more involved. However, after reading some posts here I've seen people say that books ban people who win too much. But many of you are long-term winners who are still going right? So I have a couple of questions:

1. When are bans something to worry about? Only if you bet huge amounts, or should I be worried betting ~$5k every couple of weeks, showing long-run profit?
2. How do you sharps avoid getting banned?

BTW I live in Australia (does it make a difference?)

Thanks

use pinnacle and don't worry about it.

i'm in aus as well, all the local books here are terrible and will ban you super fast if you demonstrate that you have at least part of a brain.

and yeah you can't really avoid being banned by ****ty books betting arbs because you're going to be winning mostly on the non pinnacle side.

Ok, so my current strategy won't last very long...

does that mean all the long-term profitable bettors use pinnacle like 100% of the time? Or are we just really unlucky in Australia?

bovada limited me to $100 bets for live in game tennis matches. Not really sure why, i haven't killed them or anything.
