I just reread this book and was curious if anyone remembers seeing or reading anything from Haralabos or other well known NBA bettors of the time.

Really curious to see what they were noticing/thinking when these games' lines were changing so drastically.

FWIW Bill Simmons asked HBob a couple years ago on a pod about this and I am pretty sure Hbob replied he was not aware of anything fishy going on at the time, and said afterwards he was curious and actually went back and looked at some old games Donaughy reffed and didn't see anything.

I of course can not vouch for Hbob's sincerity in this reply or his actual sources of income.

Since every single young man who risks their life savings on a 4.5-1 shot and wins has no evidence of the claim coupled with a long history of fabricating sports betting winnings and damaging another man's character with lies (EL).

But clearly the way we can solve that is via me offering him unlimited action at vanilla lines.
