Ajax are a quality team and can beat anyone home or away and I'd take them at 5.5/1 vs anyone.
IMO the line should have been a lot closer to 3.5/1 on Ajax in that game and I'm amazed you got such good odds given the way AC had performed up until that point.
Thanks for complimenting my club. To be honest, I don't really fancy the way Celtic plays, but I would pick them over AC Milan any day of the week (as in liking the club and granting their supporters some success).
The atmosphere in your stadium and among your fans is truly astonishing and unmatched in any other part of the world.
It's a shame a football team can't always give the crowd what they deserve.
I mean, winning the SPL is just a mandatory thing at this point for you, winning the league title has probably lost a lot of it's excitement.
As far as being unlucky goes, I think we're just cursed in the Champions League or something like that.
In the last four years we've drawn Real Madrid three times and Barcelona once. Not to mention the likes of Dortmund, Man. City etc. That's where the bad luck already starts.
This year we got raped by the referee when Balotelli made his 26th dive of the match and he finally got the cheap penalty he was so desperately craving for... How can you not be booked if you dive that much and how on earth can you demolish a clubs' Champions League run with such a cheap penalty call?

How on earth can you justify giving a penalty here? What could you have seen that even indicated anything???!!!
Great...
I'd say we got unlucky against you as well, given that we were definitely not the weaker side in that match we lost against you. Again a penalty call, this one a lot more justifiable, although if Denswil bumps into Stokes like that on the street, he wouldn't smash down to the ground like that... but ehhh, in modern football, I can see that call.
The poor shot from Forrest(?) that got deflected into the goal was an astonishing piece of bad luck again though.
The last match versus Milan was a showcase of the same bad luck. An enormous amount of half chances, with a rare huge opportunity.
It's not like it's ever gonna happen though.
In past years we had the fixed match Zagreb - Lyon that ended in 1-7 in which we got eliminated from the Champions League by a measly 1 on aggregate. Coincidence? I say not.
Let me just stop it right there, cause I'm deluding the thread to no end and it's bad for my ****ing heart.
Anyway, I was surprised with the odds I was getting for the Milan - Ajax match as well. 5.5:1 on Ajax win seemed way too generous, which is why I took the bet.
When we got eliminated, the elimination was all I could think about and I was gutted.
A day or so later, I got upset about the money I would've (and should've, in my opinion) won if we got a little bit more lucky, because 550 euro's is actually quite a lot of money to me.
My best mate placed the same bet and was pretty broke at the time, so he was screaming, shouting and cursing like a mad man.
Hope to see you in the Champions League next year.
Again guys, sorry for deluding the thread, but was just venting a bit as the last couple of Champions League editions have been extremely frustrating as an Ajax fan.
