How have you been doing with NBA rebounds/assists since the restart?

I decided to shutter my Vegas division since it doesn't look like Sigs & I are going to be friends and nowhere left to bet anyway, and signed up while I was in town doing that. Circa is definitely +EV this year, Westgate probably isn't with the take out, but gotta chase those big payouts.

I haven't bet NBA since the re-start. Didn't know how it was going to go with the bubble and then I legit forgot it exists. Yesterday people were going crazy over the Denver game and I was like oh yea NBA. I skipped WNBA too for the first year ever due to the bubble. Too busy with MLB, Japanese baseball, Harness, Golf, Nascar, and prepping for a NFL season that will probably go horribly because of everything going on. I started doing season long best ball this year and somehow ended up with over 200k in entries and so many teams. So gonna need to make that money up.

I looked back and I would have gotten crushed on 1Q bets, but did ok on 2H. Not enough to undo 1Q crushing.

Too bad Circa only allows 3 entries max. Think I'm going with: Crowdsource Syndicate, TomG Total Bases, and Rangers -2.5 System if they accept - and . in the name.

The positive EV in the Westgate is if you win it you can scam people for the rest of your life like that guy who won 2 years in a row and became tout. Definitely covers the takeout!

I don't have any friends so sorry about that. I just sleep and bet and nothing else. My cat is too emotionally draining on me. I can't handle anything else.

With Vegas I've been thinking about leaving or spending less time here overall so I'm about to join you. The sportsbooks suck here worse than ever. Superbook just copies BM with lower limits and will reject your bets because they feel like it. Circa is fine but their limits are a joke and for non big 4 sports they post the lines so late. They still don't have any golf lines up. South Point wants every bet I try to make to be reviewed now. Something happened to them post COVID and I'm not going to drive 25 minutes to get told I can only bet 1k. BetMGM has gone to **** in the last couple of years. Caesars is gone in a couple months. It's not really worth staying for one sportsbook that isn't even that good.

I bought some land in South Dakota in the black hills and thinking about building a house there. They just expanded their sports betting to cover the whole state and I'm guessing eventually Circa will go there and if they don't at this point I don't care. Made my money already - no point in fighting to try and bet more than a couple thousand dollars on something.

Other positives are I can dump all my rental properties now to Californians who are coming here are above market prices.

Does betting multiple WillHill locations still work or did they put an end to that?

you can use the vending machine but they're capped at low amounts. The machine at Tuscany has a 2k limit for some reason even tho the counter limit is $500.

I haven't checked any of their new strip locations, been avoiding the strip since COVID.

Circa is taking over Tuscany book next year. I just read today.

That would be nice. Tuscany is easy to get to. Free parking. Pub365 is a good place to work if you need to do some analysis.

I like the casino. I go there a lot for the WH kiosk because whoever works there is never at their station so you can get in and out without them watching you.

Borgata you can't even raise your $25 bet at BJ without a player's card. It's such a joke.

My only pit degen'ing was at the borgata back in like 2012? When it was co-owned by Boyd and MGM.

Was visiting a friend and somehow ran 2k into 87k playing blackjack. It was one of those can't lose scenarios. Playing max spots, 1k/hand, doubling down when it made no sense to, splitting tens against a 7 to piss off the you gotta play the book guy who is min betting and having it work. The common I'm drunk out of my mind scenario and nothing could go wrong.

At 6am they shut the table down. Woke up like 4pm next day, we got comped $500 steaks each where they cut it in front of you while you sit down and then proceeded to lose the 87k just as fast as we won it.

Fun ride tho. I can understand how people lose all their money in the pits. Been chasing that high ever since but I'm smart enough to avoid the pits. Even tho the money wasn't life changing even at the time, the rush was pretty crazy.

you can make blackjack +ev pretty easily tho but its alot less fun when u have to sit with minbet forever. Also u run out of places to play even faster than sports

One of my post corona plans is to take like 20k and try to make it on the road gambling. Blackjack mostly but see if it's possible to spend six months or more out there traveling the usa living off comps and advantage gambling.

It will be kind of hokey since I have a safety net but it could be fun. Plus see all the casinos before everything becomes one casino with a william hill sportsbook

thats pretty cool I almost did something like that with my friend. 20 might be a little low bcuz these days they try to push bad rules evrywhere and u have to play the 50 or 100 min tables to get the good rules. The good thing tho is once u leave vegas/AC they are way more incompetent at spotting counters

My only score gambling in say pits/slots has been hitting a 1k score on a video poker machine at the borgata earlier this year. It was kind of annoying bc I wanna say it was a .25 machine and I played the max. Its kinda crazy that a royal only pays 1k but still was really cool to hit. I wish I played in the pit more sometimes to get comps etc but losing money to try and get comps is pointless in my opinion. I really wonder how people get comped rooms/ dinners etc. I feel you really have to spazz to get comps like that or put in a to of play. I will play craps (don't pass) and lay multiple dc bets but never stay long (never longer than 1 hr) as I can either make a lot of lose roll quickly.

BTW, with video slots story, I proceeded to play 1-2 nlhe cash and punted prolly 600-900 by running big hands into bigger hands in say 2 hours (which imo is a really quick amount of time to lose) against this really obnoxious rec player. Wanna say I limped AA from EP and 3bet this player big and he flats something like kq or jq and somehow smashes a flop I get it in on due to lower sprs.

I'm not a big comp grinder but usually if there's a good promo and I have nothing else to do I'll go for it. I'll try to stack it with the coupon books to get all my degen'ing out of the way at once.

In the summer 4Q and Binions do some promo that's worth ~$40 in cash an hour and ~$40 in comps. Can usually stack like $1000 in comps during it. But even then it's grindy and gets boring quick. The Hugo's cellar and Binions steakhouse are nice places to waste them. Or I just get the salads from the binions diner.

The positives are after I do it I hate playing video poker so I just don't think about it when I enter a casino.
