So I pay a Parlay Card bet. It goes 3 of 4 with the 1 non winner a tie.

A 4 team parlay with 1 lose pays 1:1. A TIE=LOSE according to their T&C.

Take a look at the link: http://www.bookmaker.com/parlay_cards.aspx

My bet is graded a COMPLETE loss. Under nowhere does it say that a tie is a complete loss! It says a tie equals lose and a 1 team lose on a 4 team parlay should pay 1:1.
I argued with Live Support that nowhere in the rules does it state that a tie is a complete loss and it states right there that a tie equals a lose. My chat was also a complete loss.
Does anyone else see that a tie is a complete loss or have this happen? I dont see it.
Oh well. Just warning people of this.

Was it a FREE PLAY? Because I know they grade ties as losses.

It was Miss -7(w), Texas Tech +4(w), Clemson+4(w), and LSU -25(tie). Real money. Not Free Play.

What is the difference between a Parlay Card and a regular parlay?

*

If you are looking for value, our Parlay Cards are your best bet. All Parlay Card lines are static and do not move. Parlay Cards are based on a fixed odds payout while regular parlays are based on true odds.

Well hell this looks to me like it clearly says a tie = a loss. Or a tie=lose like they enjoy saying.

Thanks for the link Ryan. I should of got the consolation payoff of 1:1. The screwy thing is that is LSU where to win by only 24, that would have been a lose, therefore I would have won my consolation payoff. But since the line tied at -25 I get nothing?

Did you play a REGULAR PARLAY CARD or a CONSOLATION PARLAY CARD

I think we're getting somewhere,
There is no option of a consolation parlay card on my choices. I have 3 choices:

1. Regular Parlay Card
2. Sweetheart Teaser Card
3. Teaser Parlay Card.

I see no option of a Consolation card. If there is something I'm missing about being able to place the Consolation parlay. I wish customer service would have pointed it out to me.

What I think I'm beginning to see is that Bookmaker is showing us consolation payouts and and they are actually not even offering me(or us) the bet.

You played a regular parlay card. Your payoffs were for the regular parlay card, and therefore a tie is the same as a loss. Since any loss in any parlay is a loss, you lost. FWIW Ties lose is standard procedure for any parlay card in vegas, locals, etc. Which is why unless you are hitting very stale lines parlay cards are indeed a ripoff.

Now I'm pissed LSU ended in a tie.

The consolation payout chance is actually the reason I played the parlay in the first place. I am not happy about BM showing us those odds and not even offering the bet. I feel suckered in.

Thanks for everyone's help. This tread must die now.

Vegas standard is half-point or ties win cards.

Ties lose cards have not been the standard there for over 20 years.

And since vegas cards are usually issued on Wednesday, stale lines are probably more common than you think...

From Sportsbook.com

A parlay (otherwise known as an accumulator) is the selection of 2 or more teams (up to 12 for mainstream US sports) in no particular order in a single wager. All selections must win for the parlay to win; one loss and the entire parlay loses. If there is a tie or no action, the parlay reverts to the next lowest number for pay-off, for example: if you select 4 teams and one of those ties, it becomes a 3 team parlay. A tie and win on 2 team parlay pays out as a straight bet.

From Pinnaclesports.com

Ties, Cancelled or No Action Wagers in Parlays:
A tie, cancel, or no action in a parlay of three or more teams reduces the parlay to the next lowest payoff.

From WSEX.com

Ties Reduce: A tie in a Parlay or Teaser will reduce the number of plays in the parlay or teaser. For example, if there are two ties in a 4-play parlay/teaser, it will become a 2-play parlay/teaser and the payout will be recalculated based on the new number of plays. A 2-play parlay with 1 tie would reduce to a straight bet. In cases in which a parlay is reduced to zero plays or a teaser is reduced to 1 play, the entire wager will be cancelled and the bet amount will be refunded.

From THeGreek.com

Parlay Rules
Any one loss constitutes a loss.
In the case of a two team parlay, a push reverts the parlay to a straight bet with the remaining selection.
In the case of a push in a higher level parlay, the play reverts to the next lower level. For example, a 4 team parlay becomes a 3 team parlay, etc.

TIE = LOSE
