some cliff notes

Pedro is 5-2 with a 1.89 ERA in 10 games at Florida, New York has won 11 of its last 12 games at florida.

solid support for Martinez after getting 10 hits with Jose Reyes, David Wright and Carlos Beltran getting two each Monday.

Wright drove in three runs with a double in the fourth inning Monday, and went 2-for-4 to improve his career batting average to .348 at Dolphin Stadium.

The Marlins turn to 22-year-old Rick VandenHurk to help them rebound from losing the season opener.

The 6-foot-5 right-hander went 4-6 with a 6.83 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 81 2-3 innings over 18 games - 17 starts - as a rookie in 2007.

He struggled in two starts against the Mets, going 0-1 with a 12.00 ERA, striking out 12 in nine frames while allowing four home runs.

If this is the methodology you used to place the bet, you have no idea if the bet is +ev or not.

Im not great at baseball writeups, I do has a system (like most on here) where I can assign a numerical value to things (based on x,y,z that I'm not happy revealing, hence I rarely post on baseball like I would on football where I use a far more traditional look and see approach) and that value said that +188 was a good bet.

From a straight up punting point of view, you've got to be A LOT better than your opponents to be a -200 (ish) road fave against them. You pretty much have to murder them in every department to make that bettable. (That's different to saying I'd always bet their opponents, obviously there's vig to consider etc)
