So MP is a recreational player 81/15/28 over 26 hands, BB is an unconventional reg with stats 25/17/6 over 20k hands

IPoker, $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $142.25 (142.3 bb)
BB: $180.45 (180.5 bb)
MP: $49.20 (49.2 bb)
CO: $122 (122 bb)
Hero (BTN): $104.15 (104.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with T Q
MP calls $1, CO folds, Hero raises to $4, SB folds, BB calls $3, MP calls $3

Flop: ($12.50) Q J T (3 players)
BB checks, MP bets $6, Hero raises to $15, BB calls $15, MP calls $9

Turn: ($57.50) 2 (3 players)
BB checks, MP bets $15, Hero calls $15, BB calls $15

River: ($102.50) K (3 players)
BB bets $31, MP calls $15.20 and is all-in, Hero folds

Results: $132.90 pot ($3 rake)
Final Board: Q J T 2 K
BB showed 6 A and won $129.90 ($80.70 net)
MP showed 7 K and lost (-$49.20 net)
Hero mucked T Q and lost (-$34 net)

I really dislike how I played this hand but maybe its because I know the result.. The only thing I like is my river fold

Besides flop raise sizing too small I think I'm slowing down on the turn as you did because of BB's overcall.

You think he's got JJ or something? We're never behind.

98s, TT, JJ, QJs... I don't know, his overcall scares me. Guess he could have KQ as well but I would of had never put NFD in his range given his stats.

On this sort of texture he's a million not to try and protect those hands. He's literally never ever flatting them with 2 players in and about half the deck being bad for him.

I would have said the nfd was his most likely holding by far.

I agree, I usually see people bomb the turn with made hands here. If we he does have a made a hand he should a probably gii on the flop. So many cards are action killers.

From the two calls Id put villains on draws. The turn is one of the few cards that I'd be willing to continue in the hand. I wonder if we can jam here? Again my reasoning is that no one should be slow playing a made hand here. Given that villains could easily have 30% equity this would seem to be the best way to price them out.

Do you think this would be overplaying the hand?

Flop raise has to be bigger on this texture and have to raise MP turn donk.. I would go with a non all in sizing. BB over call is A little scary in game but you're still beating his range too so I think turn raise is mandatory.

Once MP donks the turn, the pot is around 70. The effective stacks between hero and BB are around 80. What raise are you putting in? What is your plan for the river? Do you fold if BB jams after you raise?

I would've thought NFD/FD + pr/gutser is exactly what BB villain would have.

I'm raising more on the flop, and raising the turn.

There is the odd chance that BB villain smoothed our raise hoping the MP donk who donked flop re-pops again opening up another round of betting.

Your play is nice. Your hands were not strong. If you can, you should go to showdown cheaply. but otherplayers hand range is weak. Thus, flop small raise is good. QT 2pair with that board is not suitable big pot. Turn call, river fold is good.

seems like an easy turn jam?

I agree, but this does not seem to be the consensus on this thread
