Hand 1 I'm not really sure if there is much value but I guess we can still bet because his line doesn't really look like an 8. I would make it small because I can't really put him on much that can call a river bet, let alone a big one.

Second hand definitely shove. You might miss a little value from a mid pocket pair but I don't really think people call with that on the river much anyways so just maximize value vs. his lower nines.

If he's calling 35, he's calling the rest of his stack -- 50 for a psb.

He's bluff catching either way. I actually think you get more calls with a shove.
