ok looks like a spew postflop even tho villan folded i still think my play was a spew even tho it worked. its just that i was 100% prepared to c/f almost any flop, but then my gut just told me his flop bet was super weak. idk if he was trying to take me off KK QQ with whatever he had or what. but focusing on preflop, is making it like 25 and shutting down unless we hit the flop profiable? risking 25 to win 14, how often does it have to work? i think with a good image both villans need QQ+ to call and their ranges are WAY wider than that. thoughts.....

4betting ATC in this spot CAN be a profitable play. It just depends on how wide their initial raising ranges are and how narrow their calling/shoving ranges are after you 4bet, which depends on how clean your image is. It's always going to be a bit more profitable to have blockers in this spot (Ax, Kx, etc) which reduce the number of hand combos that villains can have they're willing to felt preflop.

Plug in some numbers and do the math yourself.
