Poker Stars $0.50/$1.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (UTG): $105.05
MP: $204.50
CO: $93.85
BTN: $152.05
SB: $51.25
BB: $102.60

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is UTG with K A
Hero raises to $4, MP calls $4, 4 folds

Flop: ($9.50) K J 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $8, MP raises to $18,?

I guess since the stars 100 games are so passive I may have forget how to play this common spot.

Villain is 26/21 over 200 hands, seems fairly aggressive. Might think I am on the nitty side, first time he has raised one of my C-Bets.

Is this a raise call?

Yeah, raise call i guess. Seeing a turn and getting it in there is OK on a safe turn, but the whole deck is filled with scare cards. A/Q/J/T/9/club all really suck, and you'd pretty much have to c/f on all of them. Which... might not be so bad now that I think about it...

Call and b/c safe turn I think is a line perfect for this situation.

Here the pot will be $44.50 w/ $73.05 behind on the turn. Hypothetically, what's the deepest effective stack depth on the turn that you are b/c-ing on safe turns?

A 26/21 is just doing this crap minraise here with some draw for value and wouldn't mind if you just folded... so do the opposite of what he wants you to do which is raise. He flatcalled pf from MP too which suggests to me that he's not very good.
