I don't really have a read on this guy, but for some reason, i have that feeling I'm getting out-kicked... What's your line on flop/turn here? I suppose a flop raise would be a good move if i wanted more information...

I know this is a fairly simple hand, but inputs would be appreciated!

Call and hope you get a free showdown. If he bets river again let it go.

minraise and take a free showdown? what do you do if he calls and bets the river?

I call this down cuz I don't fold TP

Seriously, I like the minraise for free showdown here sometimes. I usually call and reevaluate river. I probably don't fold most rivers either tbh.

you're ahead of his range

calling down is fine

assuming you're outkicked is redic imo

i was thinking about the miniraise thing for cheap showdown.

given we think this player is good (not sure if we do or not), most tags will fold to a turn raise. (larger).

what if we made our raise like...2.5x (to like $32) instead of $24? looks more sensible, might give us more fold equity vs. better hands and isn't much more expensive than the miniraise. thoughts?

If I'm raising turn more than minraise it's gonna be purely for value/free showdown and to charge draws. I'm definitely not trying to fold a better hand.

So I called that turn and he bet $27 on a blank river with $41 already in the pot (he likes those 2/3 bets). Do you let it go there? And if you call and he shows you AK, do you feel you played this really bad or that you just got unlucky?

Obviously if you call and he has K-10, then you feel good about yourself...haha.
