Haven't played with villain before, I've been at the table for one or two orbits without doing much.

Hero ?

I think I'm still looking for value here, but maybe I should be checking to induce a missed draw?

should have bet a lot more on the flop being 3way...it would have made the hand a lot easier..

as played I wouldn't be too scared of an 8 here, because what kind of hands can he play here containing an 8 besides 78 which would have given him the nuts yet with a flushdraw on the board he keeps flatcalling..

I'd shove river

I'd bet more on the flop ($18-22ish), i guess turn bet sizing is ok considering pot size and probably check/fold the river.

I think it's either check/fold the river or bluff representing the straight yourself. I don't feel that there is value to be had on the river. If he's a more honest type player, he'll probably just check behind all the holdings you beat, or fold them to your river bet. Alternatively I could see him trying to bluff you off here too.

I do think there is a decent chance he can show up with an 8 here (T8, 68, 98, 78, 88 can all play this way)

check/snapcall river. not that much he can pay off with, more hands he can bluff with.

I disagree, think he can have a lot of 2 pairs that aren't folding but will check back

i like a bet of ~20-30, obv snapcalling a raise.

bigger on flop, vs unknown I think bet low and call a shove is ok. Vs aggro I prefer c/c

would fake block 1/3 PS and call a shove

Your bet sizing is really poor on the flop and turn. Bet it hard get value. River i like a check call, let him bluff a whiffed flush draw as already stated by jigsaws.
