No way I ever fold. QQ or AK is a more difficult decision.

looking at the title i really thought that it is 4 people putting in chips into the pot pre.
which would actually make it interesting

Ive been right folding KK pre in my life three times. But i would not fold here.

I fold KK vs shoves like this frequently.... you just see AA all too often in these situations.

kk is the worse hand i call with here without reads

It's an easy fold live, your opponent always has Aces here. But we never fold live, even though we all know that your opponent always has Aces here. I don't know why. I haven't folded KK yet, even though my opponent has told me exactly what he holds...That's why we simple-minded live players don't make any money. Maybe the online game is different and somehow when you raise $20 and he comes over the top for TEN TIMES your bet he doesn't have Aces. But at small stakes I doubt it.

Why can't we fold here? Bad habits from limit hold 'em days? A lack of understanding of what "exponential" really means? I think the human mind really doesn't understand exponents, and we really don't accept just how much worse KK is to AA -- after all "it's the second best hand."

I'm with stupid. I follow the crowd right off the cliff and jump into the lake myself. So I don't fold either. But it seems like if you run some sims then you should...or if you only want to fold X percent of the time figure out a way so that you're folding X percent of the time. Don't "never ever" fold when you hold a very expensive second best hand.

so u 4bet-fold QQ 4 handed?
08-26-2010 , 08:27 AM
with AK I would flat his 3b, with QQ I don`t have a clue what I would do. I`m just not good enough to fold KK, so I would snap + I would expect that we 5b to 40-45 w AA so I would almost never put him on AA in this spot.

You could fold if you were bluffing when you 4bet.
