Watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on FX or Hulu- incredible amazing omg wtf bbq etc

Also, school started August 20 and today is the first day I've really hated having to do work but that's pretty good- 2 months of no bitching!

always sunny has gotten worse every season but is still the best comedy on tv
10-19-2008 , 02:28 PM
I'm going to start that series soon. roomies are obsessed with it.
10-19-2008 , 02:43 PM
this season isnt nearly as funny as the previous ones
10-19-2008 , 03:25 PM
Meh, I think they're all great. Some are better than others. But since there isn't much (if any) plot that carries over from episode to episode I can't really say one season is better/worse than the other based on anything except the particular humor of the individual episodes, which I happen to think is pretty evenly distributed.

But O-man, start at the beginning, so you get to learn about the characters.

yeah i have season 1 & 2 (or my roomies rather). i've seen a few episodes and i didn't laugh my ass off but maybe its because i didn't really know the characters.
10-19-2008 , 03:31 PM
ya, i've tried showing some friends random eps and they laugh at some things but when i'm generally laughing they aren't, because a lot of it focuses on knowing the particular quirks of each character I think. Plenty of obvious humor but a lot of the humor comes from knowing the characters.

i think i am watching the first ep (gang gets racist as far as i know) on hulu now just to see how they start the series.

ugh I decided to play the million on FTP today and I need some new music to get me through it. recommendations?

Lately I've been listening to The Raconteurs, The Killers, and The Strokes (why do all my fav. bands have "the" in them?). anyone know of bands like them?

something catchy/high school cheerful-poppy would be good to take my mind off zzzzzz donkaments.

saw it last night, could have been so much better imo. the writing was pretty poor, ludacris cannot play any part which is not similar to his part in crash, so watching him is pretty painful. i am a sucker for marci mark though and he does pretty well.

Not to say that it wasnt entertaining, but it was just pretty average, which is disappointing cause its clear it had better potential imo.
