So I was looking for something to do before bed and I looked at Kingdom of Heaven which I just got from Netflix and was like "oh cool the envelope says this is only 1 hr and 40 mins, nice little movie before bed!"

THREE HOURS LATER I discover that this information was not accurate.

Good movie though.

I felt this way immediately after seeing it, but now two weeks later I have no desire to watch it again and it has faded in my mind to being simply OK. Anyone have similar feelings, or do I completely suck at movies?

I didn't think it was great. It probably didn't help that I knew pretty much what was going to happen... And I watched it with a friend who has total contempt for hollywood. Pretty decent though.

Yo Randiek, what chinese word for "standard" most closely approximates the usage on 2p2? I'm trying to mix it up by learning how to say it in different languages. "normal" with a spanish accent is a good one. From mandarintools.com:

Been reading reviews of local food/nightlife places (beat: though food choices are aplenty, it appears to be a small hike to good bars) on yelp and it's kinda hilarious how anti-everything the people that write those things are. Anti-frat boy, Anti-hipster, Anti-yuppie...when you take all those people out, WHO IS LEFT?!?!

Dark Knight is good but everyone is acting like it is ZOMG BEST FILM EVAR!!!!! It was too long, too boring in parts and there was far too much lame infantile preachy crap. If it wasn't for Heath Ledger this film would have been really forgettable.
