Why is my roomatte trying to argue that Ivy League education is not a good investment?? Kid lives the full ring lifestyle to the fullest (6/3 life nitbox imo).
12-16-2007 , 03:07 AM

12-16-2007 , 03:09 AM

12-16-2007 , 03:17 AM

i saw I am legend tonight.

its okay. not great, not horrible. the book is a classic and must read IMO. (and its short too, only like...170 pages).

the scenes of an empty NYC was sweet, as were the sequences with his German shepard. check out the lounge, they have a thread on it.

the 'vampires' in the movie resemble some sort of bad cross between Imhotep from the Mummy and the incredible hulk (as well as a velociraptor). they wrere my largest gripe with the movie and there were a few ******ed sequences.

overall though, the scenes of empty NYC and portrayal of a very lonely man (think tom hanks from castaway) were pretty cool. i probably give it a 5.5/10.

Yeah, I remember in soccer we had kind of legendary/ridiculous workouts. And a few of the soccer players were on wrestling as well, and they said those practices made soccer practices look like a walk in the park.

BTW, I ****ing hate winter. ****ing hate it.

On the plus side, I got my FTP chips last night and should be playing with them all day during football today. I know they're not great quality, I just want something to shuffle while I sit on my couch.

i saw it too, i was dronk as hell, but um yea.

I agree, the empty NY stuff was cool, but it felt too gimicky for whatever reason and then got super serious all of a sudden and i wasnt emotionally invested enoguh to care. might have been the drinks.

Yeah, agreed. But it makes you feel like you can do anything after a season of practices. That was hell.
12-16-2007 , 10:53 AM
I thought I Am Legend was actually pretty good.

So much adrenalin in my system when I got home though...I woke up to every little noise ;/

damn scary mutants.

I agree that they could have been done better though.

Is I Am Legend as good as Juwanna Mann?
