is this shove on the river horrible? is this shove on the river horrible?

Villian was some nut job playing 86/44 0.9agg over 144 hands
he was playing anything in any pos and its very unlikely he is concerned about anyones hand bar his own.

Should I raise the Turn?
Should I just call his river bet or is the c/c bad ?

you should not play 22's preflop in that pos. because if someone raises you, you have to fold most of the times cause off the pot odds, and if you get the rights odds like you do in this situation you can call but if you don't hit again you have to fold. so it's better to throw them right away in that position.

the check on the flop is pretty standard, you hit nothing with your 22's so you are planning to check it out or fold if raised !

on the turn when villain bet 22.5 you have to raise enough because he can have anything so a draw is possible ! second reason to raise is for value. you called preflop with not quit right odds and now it's your chance to make them right so raise to about 55 or something there. if he calls you on that spot or raise there is a really good chance he has a bigger set than you

on the river you have to fold, no matter what, it's not because he is a wild player he doesn't have it. remember when the pots get bigger the more chance he has something. that rivercard is bad for you, but mayby you are already beaten by a bigger set.

shoving in that spot is terrible, he only calls with a straight or a better set.
if you know him capable of doing kind of these plays with fairly nothing and you don't want to lay down your set you better of calling but it's not a +ev at all

I don't like the river shove unless you have a read on villain that he thinks AJ is the nuts here... I think his psb on the river is air or the 3, not a jack or 2pr hand that's going to call you down with a shove... just MO

River is closer to a fold than a shove. Call.
I dislike a lot the turn flat call. You are playing against a guy who seems not to be able to laydown any piece of that board.

Rivershove is fine imo. Hes not folding anything. Definately raise the turn tho.
