semibluff vs flatting semibluff vs flatting

What do you guys think of bluff raising flop cbets with OESD or FD? My standard is to raise my value hands, semi bluff my, weak draws like gut-shots and to flat OESD and FD so that I don't get raised off my equity.

Balugawhale talks about raising strong and weak equity hands and flatting medium equity hands like OESD and FD so that we don't get raised off our equity.

Is it better to semibluff OESD and FD vs a wide weak range and flat vs a tight strong range that is likely to 3bet you? What dynamics influence your decision?

It all deepends, what can we rep, what villains rep, will villain bluff our outs, how many live outs we have, what we want our range to look like ott and otr. Without reviewing specific spots you wont get any general anwser for that becouse there is no such an anwser.

Most of the time oesd + 2 overs, nuts FD, FD + 2 overs are very good hand to call flop IP and OOP. We dont want to raise in spots where we only rep draws.

Reason why sometimes ppl check/raise or raise nuts FDs is becouse we can jam vs 3bet these hands but for that we need specific read (villain stacking off with worse FDs, villian 3betting flops too wide etc etc)

It's not only about what we rep, also important that Villan can 3bet and we have to fold a hand with huge equity after putting decent amount of money in, wich is obv a bad result.

I think OP's approach is decent, we don't mind folding 4outers or whatever.. Also NFD often have some SDV..
