I'm trying to get him to think I have AK/AA or 6x, even though I raised UTG so 6x is unlikely.

oh it's a great bluff

are you betting the turn?
10-28-2009 , 11:36 PM
Betting the turn depends on his flop calling range. If you think he peels a PP a lot here, then a turn bet is fine.

but after he calls turn he has an ace (or fd, but you beat that), and you're seriously trying to get him to fold one? cmon...

1 being worst, 10 being best, this bluff is probably about a -5. if he folds you had the best hand.
10-28-2009 , 11:42 PM
Horrible. He never folds an ace on that river.

eeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wtf

If he calls turn, then he's always calling river given the K came.
The turn, its okay, depends how wide hes calling with, can he do this with small PPs?
10-29-2009 , 12:48 AM
I think vs players who have a wider flop calling range, the turn barrel is good, but vs players who are folding a lot of like 99-22 on the flop, then that obviously makes the turn barrel spewy. River I think is pretty bad and it's really wishful thinking to be hoping someone folds top pair now a days.

You do realize all aces expect AK and A6 split? Ok good. Now how would this affect the decision to bluff here? I guess if he's a ****** he'll put you on AK and fold an ace, otherwise.... 3-

i donk like it vs rando

You post this because Villain called you and showed 77?
10-29-2009 , 05:03 AM
If you were planning the bluff from the flop, I would make my bets closer to pot size. I think the river is a bad card to bluff as hes callin any A and folds worse?

meh

he's not folding since if you really had an A you would pot control turn, let him float and just c/c.

Guess most semi-decent players should realize this?

wtf is going through your mind when you do htis

turn can be OKAY vs. certain villians. certainly not against some random you have 40 hands with.

river is beyond awful. he's never folding an ace.

if he folded, you had the best hand.
