I would fold this all the time against a 19/9 UTG caller, especially since he leads out. I don't think you're ahead in this spot at all.

fold fold fold... this is always some dumb Kx hand "finding out" where it is and never folding
03-23-2008 , 01:31 PM
i wouldn't fold here. nh imo.
03-23-2008 , 02:04 PM
i play it the same
unless i have a note that says leads strong

why does everyone call this? We have zero FE to an UTG raise that led into us on a stacked board

Maybe if it was like a 10 dollar lead or a 5 dollar lead or something dumb, but this kid is obviously committed. I think its a big leak to call here... we are probably flipping against even the bottom part of his range (too lazy to stove)

skeety,

because people like UTG are terrible at poker.

OP,

I don't think one weirdly sized bet and half a stack automatically make someone terrible at poker.

Regardless, terrible kids at poker call us down with K2 here and own us

no one's trying to fold out a pair of kings, skeety. it's just so incredibly likely that he's making this lead with some stupid draw/air/bottom pair bull****. folding would be pretty silly, and stacks and board texture are such that if we want to continue a shove is the best play.

Skeety,

He has $90 and donkbet, chances he sucks are huge.

And we aren't bluffing here, we are shoving for value... Obv hes not folding a better hand but thats not the point.

god mabye i suck

If this guy checked to you, I'm pretty sure that you would b/c (it's only a little bit more than a PSB), right? But he didn't check to you, he donked. People usually do this with weak hands, and since you are committed anyway, I shove this all day.

**** these donkeys

My thinking was i had a gutshot and i beat a flush / straight draw and all kinds of ******ed donk bets with non kings .
