bet flop and c/f if you get any resistance.

as played, it's fine though. don't think you played it bad.

if turn was a brick, like 2s, how bad would it be to raise?

its tough to represent a big hand when the turn bricks since the flop is so drawy that you would be likely to bet almost 100% of your big hands (ie. combo draws, 2pairs, sets). if the turn came a 2 i would've called and re-evaluated on the river.

the thought behind raising turn was to to get value out of draws.
I don't think we need to be thinking about what we represent all that much here against a 50/11 guy.

you played it fine.
07-02-2008 , 03:00 PM
do you think he bet/calls FDs on the turn?
07-02-2008 , 03:02 PM
FD/straightdraws, yeah I do.

no takers on raising a brick turn?
07-02-2008 , 03:56 PM
i like calling here 85%, raising 15%.

don't really want to play a big pot tough since he can easily have Kx hands in his range too which he is valuetowning. if you just call and a river bricks, you can prob call one more bet.

I like betting the flop to get value from 2nd pairs, floats and draws. Turn is prob a check. River fold obv

Well played

i think we are missing a lot of value from checking here on the flop.
the board is pretty drawy, so we can extract a lot of value from flush draws, open enders, and second pair almost never folds.
07-02-2008 , 09:11 PM
If the board was drier I would like your flop check more. I think its played fine though.

cawl because a donk this aggro will fire on the river w/ all his missed draws (and we snap ldo). Showdown raise is ok tho.
