I too have noticed quite a bit of fish berating from 2+2ers (not you in FE, but other outed posters) Please, please stop it. And Michaelson, I'll try to sit on your left from now on, you know, just so you can improve
Thanks man!

I have really, really been trying to cut back. I still snap, but way less than before. If you guys ever do see me going off my nut, then odds are I'll be tilting so hard that I'm a bigger fish than the guy I'm berating.

No but all I know is that I am destroying him at 3 bet pots, I think I have actually won more from him then any other player.

I agree. I'm easily the best player at Party 200NL at the moment (blow me if you don't like it)
the best player at any ssnl/msnl limit on a big site hates money.

agree/disagree, thoughts?

Too true unless they're able to play like 15 tables playing as well as they do 4tabling, but can't beat the next level nearly as well. Also, Jay, berating shortackers is fun as long as you do it in a creative and funny way. In which case it is not only encouraged but mandatory.

nah SEABEAST earns a very decent living, hes the best msnler on party prob. could easily beat hsnl

fine let me re-phrase.

the best player at any ssnl/msnl limit on a big site gives up a ton of EV.

i also said ssnl/msnl because as you start getting up the limits the variance starts getting sick, your edge starts getting smaller, etc. So there gets to a point where extra money you earn doesn't justify the increased variance to you take. For some people this threshold is at 5/10, some higher.

I doubt for many people this threshold is the 1/2 -> 2/4 jump though. So if jay thinks he's the best at 1/2 then he's ******ed for not playing 2/4 (or the world's biggest BR nit).

Or a [censored] lazy player who plays like 20k hands a month tops and spends what he makes nearly always.

I don't even know what my winrate is anymore it fluctuates soo much. It could be anywhere between 8 and 3.
If you're the best 200NL player, it better be 8.

Or have you been running good for a couple of days so now you're convinced you are gods gift to poker again and expect to win at close to 10ptbb the next 50k hands. I know I get like that after a few good days.
09-13-2007 , 11:40 AM
I don't think anyone at 200NL gets even close to 8 longterm tbh. (Cue people posting graphs where they run at 9 over 50k hands or something).
09-13-2007 , 11:58 AM
If they don't, its only because they move up before it can come to the longterm. I mean 40k hands of 10ptbb in one month and you are basically rolled for 400NL even if you make a decent cash out.
09-13-2007 , 12:03 PM
Yeah I'm talking about current players, and I doubt many people atall who have moved up were pulling in 8+ at 200NL.

How many Party Points do I need to make Deuce level? I'm only Ace at the moment
09-13-2007 , 08:50 PM
20,000 base points per quarter
09-13-2007 , 10:05 PM
30k'ish hands a month at 200NL.

Dammit. Guess its going to be a while before I get there then. Won $1k at 200NL today and then lost $2.5k at 400NL. Poker hates me.
09-13-2007 , 10:20 PM
deuce level?

im getting levelled here, yeah?
09-13-2007 , 10:28 PM
Only if you think Party is leveling us by calling it "Deuce".
09-13-2007 , 10:35 PM
Why don't they advertise it anywhere on their site? Is it meant to be top secret or something?
09-13-2007 , 10:36 PM
I don't know. It's lame. They probably think a secret level is "cool" and we will feel special.
09-13-2007 , 10:39 PM
Well, I for one am going to feel like James [censored] Bond when I get there.
09-13-2007 , 10:50 PM
how sick would it be if they had a level where u need 100K base points called joker or somethin
09-13-2007 , 10:54 PM
30k at NL$200? [censored] im Ace level forever at NL$25 then .... Lol sucks to cash out.
09-13-2007 , 10:55 PM
Even sicker if they didn't tell anyone about it, you wouldn't even know if you got there. And there would be no extra points or other things that would give away that you had got there. Sick, so so sick.

[censored] it, I think the Joker level exists.
