Villain (SB) is unknown. MP is decent, but hasn't done anything crazy.

Full Tilt Poker $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

MP: $166.50
Hero (CO): $177.45
BTN: $100.00
SB: $100.00
BB: $52.75
UTG: $65.80

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is CO with 9 A
1 fold, MP raises to $3.50, Hero calls $3.50, 1 fold, SB calls $3, 1 fold

Flop: ($11.50) T 9 A (3 players)
SB bets $7, MP calls $7, Hero raises to $28, SB raises to $96.50 all in, MP folds, Hero calls......?

Get it in. So many draws and AK, AQ, 9 10 type of stuff.

flop is close. you have about 34% equity. once you raise you kind of have to go with it.

I'm correct to raise flop more often than not, though, correct?

i think so. a blank turn really does nothing for your equity; in my last post i messed up and posted a blank turn equity but for comparison sake:

The reality is there will be times when you raise the flop and everyone folds. There will be times when you raise the flop and people flat. Facing a shove obviously doesn't feel great, but you were right to raise your hand on the flop, and though you're in a close spot now, you should call and feel comfortable with your line.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I think HoldEmNewby has the SB's range nailed down here. Occasionally you might see AJ or AQ since villain is unknown, but that would be a rarity.

I don't think I would ever fold here. You obviously don't love seeing the shove, but overcalling the donkbet isn't really an option because you would see the turn three-way and not know which cards you are trying to dodge. Plus if you just call the flop and then SB fires turn again big on a brick you can't really fold because of how you've under-repped your hand, so you're pretty much never getting away if he has TT or whatever. It's more likely that the turn and/or river cards will kill your action against the hands in villain's range that you are ahead of on the flop and you can get outdrawn easily in this spot.

I'd definitely call.

Results: SB = 99, turn and river brick.

I thought I was right to get it in at the time, but it was rather thin. Thanks to all for confirming I'm not ******ed.
