Is this a standard fold with bottom set and over 200bb stacks?

I don't think I ever fold there, but I suck.

when it all goes in on one street in a singly raised pot

negative all-in EV doesnt sound right. i guess you have too strong a tendency to shove light on the turn... you should probably think about how profitable those kinds of moves are

thought id been running close to as bad as humanly possible but im sure you have me beat... sorry to see that

losing 50 bis at 1/2 is kinda indicative that you need to work on your game or drop down or something, you aren't just running bad, just my advice
03-20-2009 , 12:53 AM
obv theres leaks in there and obv theres tilt in there but wut do u expect when everyday is constant coolers and setups....my expected all in EV was at -3k at one point and now its at -1kish so i think from all this im improving...well see ima continue to do sweats with ppl and play 6-9 tables at times to improve i hope
03-20-2009 , 12:59 AM
It's just really key that you think all the way through a hand every time. I've dropped a bunch of money at 2/4 lately because I go on some ******ed autopilot and do things without really thinking. For me, playing too many tables sometimes brings on this problem or exacerbates it. I imagine it's the same for you and you should think about playing shorter sessions, taking 5 minute breaks somewhat frequently and doing some jumping jacks or something to wake up, or giving up on the SNE chase altogether and playing less tables for less hours.

just play 8-9 tables for awhile.....see how it feels...if you still lose drop down.

didn't you say you were up several thousands of EV for the year b4 this month....so things are evening out....when you play hundred and hundreds of thousands of hands...things even out.....hang in there.
03-20-2009 , 01:20 AM

Anyone here got a tableratings tilt tendency over 79? I thought I was improving that part of my game
03-20-2009 , 05:15 AM
k so i was just playing HU with a 140bb drooler at a 50bb fast table for 20 minutes and nobody joined...u guys should really stop bitching about short stackers if this is going to happen
03-20-2009 , 07:37 AM
i often end up hu with a fish. im always shocked at how long itll go hu.
03-20-2009 , 07:37 AM
how about you guys play 4-6 tables and concentrate on playing good and developping your game. i have like 150k sample of 12 tabling running at 1.5pt and 150k sample of 4-6 tabling and game selecting running at 7pt. obv its not fullproof but i find it alot less stressful playing less tables and i actually enjoy thinking about playing poker instead of grinding without thinking at all.

for those that can grind 12+ tables at a solid winrate, greggy20123213213123 comes to mind. i have a ton of respect for you, but i am incapable of doing that methinks. and so are many others.

Is this why you keep challenging people to HU?

I have huge respect for your work ethic and mental capcity to not go on monkey tilt. If it wasn't for your ego and ability to piss the crap out of people then I'm sure there would be a lot of people who could easily turn you into $100k/year winner (not including RB FPPS etc)

i guess u dont realize i talk to quite a few great poker players..the ppl who dont like me on these forums either are terrible at poker or take everything in life seriously...85% of the stuff i used to say on here used to be a joke and lately i dont think ive come off as the dickhead and prob will continue like that

i also totally agree with you fishdonkey..the odds of me stopping SNE are slim as long as i dont go broke which i dont think will happen cuz i have ppl who would even stake me...i jus couldnt see quitting this because for one im not a quitter and two im 1/5 done already...and three if i can get thru this breaking even like i was before this month im gonna have a 115k bankroll to work off for next year and improve focus on improving
