as u can see i the raw HH, I won the hand but couldn't see villains hand, what the hell?
so I mailed support and this is what they replied:

Quote:
Hi Timothy,

Thank you for taking the time to write to us and Happy New Year!

Unfortunately once the Muck Losing Hand feature is enabled on our tables you will not be able to see the opponent's cards when at showdown he has the losing hand. This feature is present on all of our tables and can not be removed.

I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you! I understand that it is important for every player to have this information at hand in order to understand better the opponent's strategies but it is up to the player to decide whether or not he will reveal his cards to his opponents or not. I hope for your understanding in this matter!
this can't be normal?
I mailed them back and still awaiting response...

2nd confirmation from party vip team that if u use muck losing hands opponents can't see your hands:

Quote:
Indeed, as my colleague pointed out, in case you choose to muck your hand, your opponents will not be able to see it while at the table.
Should you require further assistance, please feel free to contact us at VIP@palladiumlounge.com or just give us a call. My colleagues and I will be more than happy to hear from you.
a bit strange tbh...

It just happens every now and then. You still should be seeing the vast majority of mucked hands that go to showdown.

I can see the mucked hands now anyway BBJ has gone

so party changed their loyality system and what not, how many points are you nl 100/200 grinders making / day now? 30k points = $1.5k cash seems like an improvement NO?!

I think I have male PMS. I am pissy at the start of each month haha.

I think people should send emails to VIP hosts to limit the number of HU tables to 4-5 per limit, if this continues it is going to ruin the action at party. Today some of the regulars refused to even play me, and there is like 12+ tables going. I emailed the VIP department and they forwarded my suggestion. Maybe if you more do the same a cap can be put on these.

Mate this is all perfectly standard at every site that offers hu. Regs arent usually playing each other and every midstakes reg is sitting on a couple of tables all over the limits. Get used to it or play ring games if u want to play regs.

Lol you don't understand what i'm saying. The games at party are going to get ruined if regs refuse to play regs and prey on fish. Sooner or later fish are not going to want to play and then the regs are going to get bored of playing each other, bang party dies like ipoker and the rest. If you want to keep the games decent you will email them to limit the tables. If not then i guess in two months we can try to find a new site.
01-05-2009 , 07:55 PM
Buddy I have been ipoker midstakes hu reg for quite a long time now.
It is still very fishy and I dont see it going anywhere else...
See, fish dont give a **** whats going on: they pop up the site, sit down and gamble it up. Thats how it is.

btw:

right now there is 1 SINGLE REG SITTING AT NL 1K WAITING FOR ACTION WHILE ONLY 2 OTHER GAMES ARE RUNNING.
THERE ISNT SITTING A SINGLE PERSON AT NL600 HU.
AT NL400, THERE ARE 2 GAMES RUNNING WITH NOBODY WAITING FOR ACTION.

I really dont get the panic...

I think a limit should be put in place to stop bumhunters (im talkin to you OMG_GHOSTDOG) sitting at 12 tables refusing action from any1 apart from droolers, a player shopuld be able to open 3 HU tables, and if he/she has action on all 3 of those tables be allowed to open another, otherwise limit the amount.
01-05-2009 , 09:22 PM
Clearly you are one of these HU guys that sits and waits on all the tables Samurai cause you are getting really offended. There should be a limit. How come you guys won't play other regs? If regs are going to sit on 10 tables they have to be prepared to play both regulars and fish. They shouldnt refuse a game with anyone, otherwise get off the table.

How come us hu-specialists should play other regs??? Rarely any regs play other regs hu all over the online hu tables on this planet bro. Take a glance at full tilt, ipoker, poker stars or wherever u want!!! (Jesus i wonder where u guys come from sriously lol)

Anyway, i understand y all party-only regs not having a clue whats going on in the hu world dont worry u gonna get used to it just takes time.

There barely aint any action NL400+ anyway. THERE IS NO SINGLE PERSON SITTING AT NL400 HU RIGHT NOW JUST TAKE A LOOK!!!

LOL Samurai, just because no regs play other regs on other sites doesn't mean it is good. I think it is pathetic that regs are so afraid to play other regs HU. Don't you find it demeaning spending your time preying on weaker opponents. I think someone that will become truly good at this game will play everyone. Its like a UFC fighter or boxer heavy weight constantly fighting a lightweight. Sure they will make a lot of money and win a ton of fights, but it is pretty lame, I wouldn't feel very good with myself. Anyways take care and gl my opinion stands. If you want to sit and wait for weaker players its a good strategy go for it. I have slightly more morals than to constantly beat up on people that don't know how to fight.
01-05-2009 , 10:05 PM
Lol @ at talking about poker-related-moral standards since poker is all about stealing as much money as fast as possible. Jeeeesus.

But hey, u and ur pal rock-steady can 12-table each other 24/7 what do i even care lol.

gg im out
01-05-2009 , 11:06 PM
I guess we have different opinions on the game. I dont believe it is all about stealing money as quick as possible, I do believe it is about money, but I think I make 60% of my profits of regulars, 40% from fish.

poker is about pushing your edge.. playing regs HU is just plain dumb if you can wait around for fish.
01-05-2009 , 11:33 PM
maybe playing regs at 5/10 is pointless. playing regs at 1/2 and 2/4 is not that unprofitable. Anyways, I don't feel like arguing this, gl at the tables. My points is plain and simple though, having all these HU tables going with regs only playing fish, obviously it is clearing out the fish at a faster rate. The edge is much stronger. It is like arguing that fishing in the sea with a huge net as opposed to a hook and line will leave the same amount of fish is absurd. I say people should message in. If they don't they don't.... No biggie. GL at the tables

FWIW, I lean toward YouSureSir's point of view.
