lots of people mention his name, but to be honest i dont find him that tough. he seems to spew a bunch vs me. if his range seems v narrrow or hes taking some strange line, just call him down.

he makes bluff turn and river c/r in smallish pots where if you think for 2 secconds its impossible for him to have a hand.

Yes I know this, but preflop he can be a real pain. You have to either fight back and he will back down or move to another table (or get raped).

Uhm? What about his line didn't make sense? His range isn't all that narrow, AK+? Don't really like his second barrel there though.

Edit: Or his third, to be fair.
07-02-2008 , 07:02 PM
AK+ is pretty narrow...

his 2nd and 3rd barrels are terrible imo.
07-02-2008 , 07:07 PM
lol, I sucked out hard against Life a few days ago for a couple of buyins. He plays well though IMO.

report him for giving advice during hands and he will get his chat banned.

Meh, AK/AA/KK/88/55/44/76s all plays like this. 54s as well might, depends on his preflop game. And dunno how light he isolates but he might even have 76o? Not really that narrow imo. Still, nice hand, badly played by villain. Don't really think I like your reasoning for the call down though, would prefer: "Villain is spaz aggro postflop, never fold top pair to him." from watching this hand. I'm assuming you call TT also?
07-02-2008 , 07:21 PM
Ursine, good idea, may do that as he really xxxxed me off.

Mel, hmm perhaps this isnt the best example then. I do distinctly remeber thinking "LOL" as I cheerfully called him down.

I wouldnt call TT, but I can see what youre saying. I guess if we want to be doing this some (large) percentage of the time, might as well 'randomise' by doing it with the better hands in our range?
07-02-2008 , 07:23 PM
theres nothing more life tilting than getting sucked out on by a donk then havin donk nit stephen_ cant remember the rest set mine and stack him ffs
07-02-2008 , 08:09 PM
I've got at least 5 people chatbanned for doing it. It really is out of order and party are actually pretty good with sorting it. Normally they ban them for either 1 or 2 weeks if it's a first offence.

You guys really think life pursuit can play? guy seems like a complete spew monkey to me.

He makes a lot of mistakes and I've done very well vs him. You dont want him on your left though.
07-02-2008 , 09:25 PM
Oh, how joyful it is to get no respect in 3 bet pots

3 more hours and the 240 hours is complete, and then freedom returns.

Hopefully Party doesn't pull a Party and make us wait to get the rakeback, gebus.

Completely DOOMED during rake free

Hate your 3-bet there, especially since he seems aggro.

Life_pursuit was a 10ptbb/100 winner at 2-4 a few months ago, he is super active on mIRC.

You guys played with WrongBluff? New to my DB, he was pretty active and really really bad. 3-bet super light in terrible spots, and berated me about the long-term after misplaying a hand badly.
07-03-2008 , 12:25 AM
lol preflop was a bit confusing
standard postflop though, got it in ahead.
07-03-2008 , 01:10 AM

Pumpui, of all the stats and dataminin you have on party I have never heard you mention any of the bigger winners at 200nl, id be interested in hearing who is
mostly the regs that nobody talks about...
the ones who play 21/16/2 with 5% 3bet..

rest are just on pure luck heaters, then downswings
07-03-2008 , 02:57 AM
Mrbigstack23?

seems spewy at times but overall solid?

What the hell is sashrussian1 doing with insta overbet shoves? 2 situations came up today where Hero couldn't have had a big hand, and sasha insta overbet-shoved. Once 225bbs in 50bbs, the other time 200bbs into 15bb in a limped pot.

Both times it would have been difficult for me to have a big hand, and both time sasharussian instantly checked, made an almost instant check-raise. Then also instantly overbet jams the next time there was action on him.

I don't get it.

He ran like god for a while, variance caught up with him, he moved down to 1-2 where he is struggling to break even?
