its nice flopping sets against over aggro german tags and having them stack off with middle pair / air. And here I was getting nervous against some of u ... 3bet with 2 4 off with no history or table dynamic ?!?! ... 'buddylist time'
05-30-2008 , 10:07 PM

05-30-2008 , 11:27 PM
istrong post monthly results!
i want to see what ranking i got
05-31-2008 , 11:06 AM
12 buy-ins below expectation and straight flush > QQQQ on a non bbjp table. Today blows.
05-31-2008 , 11:28 AM
i think the day when i am in a hand like that on a non bbjp table might be the day that finally makes me quit poker. literally have night mares about it.

Some guy who won the jackpot yesterday got only about $1k. That'd ****in tilt me since it's often >$100k.

LOL, and so the 4 other chaps at the table who weren't involved in the hand only got like $125 each? Man that would tilt me. I think I already paid somewhere between $1K-2K in BBJ rake and I only play there when I'm chasing a huge fish, or when the jackpot is really huge.

lol, we have another hair-brained rake free promo to enjoy... this looks to be a bit better though.
06-03-2008 , 10:46 AM
This one looks really good for people who are machines or something. Unfortunately, I am not.
06-03-2008 , 12:04 PM
play 7 hours a day for 3 weeks and get a weeks rake free play. that really is quite an incentive.

(im guessing its actual hours not table hours, otherwise would be too easy)
06-03-2008 , 12:08 PM
thinking about it, that equates to 25% rakeback over the course of the month.

plus ~10% say from party points.

except its better than that, because you can take it easy the first 3 weeks (tablewise, 7 hours is still a chore) then grind mega hard the last week.

its pretty sweet actually.

Partypoints are nowdays capped to your goal so I dont think you will be getting anywhere near 10% from that unless you have a huge goal.

Also the rb is calculated from your average rake not the last 80(160-240) hours.
06-03-2008 , 12:37 PM
Not a fan of this promotion at all, 60 hour weeks, rakback is what you contribute, not the actual table average, so will work out lower for most. Would be good if they did something similar but more attainable, or related to hand volume, not time volume. 12 hour days, 5 days a week doesn't appeal to me at all.
06-03-2008 , 10:44 PM
Im sooooooooo bad at poker.

Seriously, I'm pretty sure I should just quit and be done with it.
06-03-2008 , 10:54 PM
did istrong post may results?

anyways 400nl is easier than 200nl. More predictable tags. I find stations give me the most problem cause I end up spewing so many buyins to them after they call me down with bottom pair.
