that's something i have learned over the years
steady grinding with reasonable hours and taking off days regularly is the way to go otherwise you burn out really fast and end up barely putting any volume in for months

shoulda put that time posting 20 thousand times in this forum into playing cashy, geez figure it out bro

football>stippers and blow>playing>>>>>>>>poasting

I rolled back my stars, its a problem w/ the new update
07-25-2013 , 02:13 PM
what does that mean? roll back stars?
07-25-2013 , 02:36 PM
Go to program files/pokerstars, you should see a folder named back up, copy and replace all contents from backup folder to the main folder. When you have done that make sure to run pokerstars.exe instead of pokerstarsupdate.exe otherwise it will keep asking you to update.

that leaves 5 days which include 3x football & 2-3 gym

so 1 day is football + gym on the same day, so exhausting that it is impossible to get real volume down

which leaves 4 days, even if I put down 6-7 hours/day (which is big volume considering that i do sports on those days too) i still wont get over 100k hands/month

Ok ok. Seems reasonable

I played at the highest level when 15-16-17... Not now. Wish when I was senior lol I was trainning as much as professionals (well, like ¿90%? of what they do) but at my age. I've played (vs. my age team) against Barcelona, Valencia, Estudiantes... All senior teams in the first Spanish league. I quit but some of my friends carried on playing professionaly one when to univ. league in the USA for instance, another one to denmark, another one is going to play prob first league in Russia this year(to be confirmed soon) etc. So I know what it is. What Cashy says looks very time consuming. We, well, they, don't spend all day away so often and they do basketball and gym at the same time (less time consuming).

GL!

This is true, it takes a lot of commitment to keep playing playing especially if you find yourself in the midst of down swings that you can't seem to escape from. I'm so glad I have a job to depend on for those rainy days when I just don't feel like playing at all.

I usually just take off and be a degenerate somewhere else like horse racing, lottery tickets, or local casinos. The most important thing is to keep that fire going for gambling addiction.

the level where you can earn a little money on the side(oftentimes trough a point bonus) but far from being enough to completly live off it

How much action would you take on playing a 200k month with the same sustained winrate as the previous 200K you played?

fyi I'd bet against.

massive increase in volme = lower winrate, is pretty obviously true in your case as with everyone else. unless you are a poker theory robot, and dont rely on gaining/using reads to make exploitive plays at all :x

you are only assuming that because most people are relying on heavy tableselecting and therefore have to play on tougher tables if they want to up their volume

I never tableselect and adding a few hours of grind wouldn't change my WR at all

not sure why you are even asking after I made it clear that I do not have the time anymore to put in such hours
07-26-2013 , 12:27 PM
What team are you playing for cashy?
From what I understand you play football in germany, right? What league?
07-26-2013 , 01:20 PM
If I tried to play 200k hands in a month my w/r would decrease significantly (zoom only, no table selection) Mental fatigue and having to pretty much play no matter how bad I was running...
