Always keep my eye out for a Sam Smith's pub, £1.50 for a decent ale. Lot's of Fuller's pubs in Brighton where I am now.

i've never liked the term "real ale", found this interesting (imo, lol) article about it http://www.brewdog.com/blog-article/...eer-v-real-ale

i just like good beer, regardless of how it is made/stored/whatever.

I drank 5pints of Leffe at the Edinburgh Festival a few years ago and lost the power of all basic motor functions. Probably why it's illegal in most bars to be sold in pint form! Quality stuff.

Beir Halle in Glasgow is a good place to go to sample tons of foreign beers.

My sleep schedule used to get F'ed up often as well. I would stay up/sleep for about ~2 hours longer each day so that I eventually was going to bed at 4pm and waking up at 12pm.

After a while it starts getting really depressive to not get any sunlight etc. So I started searching the web for some tips on how to turn my sleep schedule back to 12pm-8am.

What I found was that there apparently are some people who believe that your eating schedule has a more dominating effect on the body's inner clock than the whole daylight/nighttime thing.

So basically what that means is that your body will try to stay awake according to when food is available (when you decide to eat). Furthermore, according to this theory, the whole reason that our schedule keeps shifting is because we don't eat breakfast as soon as we wake up and/or eat to much nighttime snacks.

So again, according to this theory, in order to stay on the same schedule all the time, we should eat breakfast as soon as we wake up, and not eat for like 4-5 hours before bedtime.

I've found this working for me (hello placebo) although I may be way off

yeah i do like a leffe as well. haha, you gotta be careful drinking strong beers like that on nights out, they tend to just make me tired so i only really have one or two in the house after late night poker sessions.

i'll need to vist that pub, also wanna check out the glasgow brewdog pub.

one of my faves, not had it for ages, not many shops sell them so need to order online. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/207/645

jesus this stuff is £3.90 a bottle (33cl) now, i checked through my emails and it was £2.75 in 2009. sick price increase that!

The reason why people who stay up late and also stay in front of the computers have their sleep schedule move 1-2h each day, is because the human biological sleep clock is on a 25h schedule, instead of a 24h schedule. Of course, for "normal" people, this effect is minimal because their sleep schedule is more affected by daylight, but for the people who stay indoors a lot and will stay up later and in front of computer (which produces blue light which reduces melatonin levels (the chemical that makes you sleep)), we are more affected by the 25h body clock.

The food thing is also true btw.

Is it normal that there's no table info until the table is opened? Like if I press a table right now without having opened it, then I can't see who's on the table or on waitlist etc.

it was so epic

Balotelli too, what a hero amongst men he is, absolutely love him

everyday he is doing something mental around Manchester

The other day he went into a resteraunt and paid for a magician to be there doing tricks during the entire meal.

and everyone forgets Spurs shouldnt have even had a chance in that match were it not for our 4th choice CB making two huge errors, even with that they still lost

BALOTELLIIIIIII

Guys, maybe it makes sense to make another thread for all non-poker subjects and leave this one for poker discussions only ? I stopped reading the thread, just too difficult to find something relevant.

Use the thread in MSNL IMO.
