Marc Karam is usually pretty solid but I saw him spewing and doing weird **** a few times tonight. Maybe 16 tabling rush isn't the way to go...

Hard to say if his pf play is spewy w/o seeing his cards but his flop raise only needs to work 3/8ths of the time. Prob not the worst thing ever. On a side note I'm like 137 under ev now. Holler.

Villain is TANNOyTERRIER

I m not 3betting lot, plan was to 3 bet and valuetown 9x boards since he flats pf with lot of 98 9t j9 suited and offsuit

C/F, he's pretty passive postflop and very likely to check his weaker toppair hands.

I think the 3bet is horrendous though.
09-06-2010 , 10:34 AM
that 3bet is terrible. c/f turn seems okay...
09-06-2010 , 10:40 AM
Just fold, you're 200bb deep you're going to be in a ton of bad spots on turn/rivers
09-06-2010 , 10:41 AM
Why would you 3bet pre with A9o OOP deep? A9o plays horribly deep, especially oop. Almost as bad as burning money imo. As played, this is a fold. His betsizing looks like he wants to get the stacks in, and that is not the hand you want to do this with 200bb deep. Even at 100bb this would be a fold vs most villains.

villain is clowntable, i think he sees me as solid and a bit nitty (not saying this is true), which means he probably knows i dont spazz out vs his utg raises (not saying this is true). whats his range here on the flop? what kinda hands do you think he puts me on?

@clowntable, you mind sharing your thoughts considering my range? or your thoughts in this hand? we can also do this via PM if you prefer that.

Blix: I'll wait for comments from others before giving my opinion on the hand
Also I dunno the rush dynamics very well but I noticed that your betsizing is somewhat strange in certain spots (irrelevant for the hand you want to discuss)

Edit: haha love the villain name
09-06-2010 , 11:49 AM
Probably some pocket pair (88?) type hand. You're deep, he's probably mining pre, he likes to RR hands with some showdown value, etc. I don't think he ever has a value hand.

I'd imagine your OOP flatting range there is fairly tight.
