What's with the sizing pre? Or did you just pot. I think if you think he has 99-QQ a lot there has to be some merit to checking the flop sometimes but really i think 250+ bbs deep you should bet the flop and go from there. I mean he isn't giving you much action anyway. His hand totally looks like " I haz a pair but i'll pf to see if he flops an A or a K with his and muck if so". It's kind of a meh spot I wouldn't worry about esp against Goneshipping

if he's a thinking reg, you're not gonna get any two streets of value from him if he doesn't have an A. He may call the turn w/ KK/QQ/JJ, but he probably won't call the river. Just bet bet bet like tripdeuces said, the value will take care of itself. Besides, if you check the flop, i think it looks way more like at least one ace.
