12-22-2010 , 04:07 AM
marc karam is horrrrrrrrrrrible
12-22-2010 , 04:24 AM
I was not leveling about capax. I think he's legit tough to play against.

BTW, who are you on ftp. PM me if its not public.

Oh and I love your avatar

Let's just say I would really prefer we not talk about Cap

does your heart go extra fast when you hear his name??
12-22-2010 , 01:15 PM
so much leveling going on...

fwiw i read a thread in bbv one time that was a graph of marc karam before he was red pro playing rush and he won 50 bis in a day, granted he played some absurd amounht of hands still a pretty sick day.

Craig Marquis, when u have a pair, i feel like its such a cooler.

my favorite red pro is mihai manole. funny name + hands me stacks.

Pretty funny with SSNL playes calling Karam bad. He was like the first player who sat with a million at a single online table back in the day before the FTP nosebleeds came around. He is a HU beast and also has some sick tournament scores.
12-22-2010 , 01:47 PM
I think Marc Karam is bad. but I also think that everyone is bad, myself included.
He may have been a heads up beast in like 2007 but I'd snap sit with him if I saw him sitting at a 10/20 hu table

If I had to judge his skill in comparison to others 200nl regs, I would put him at the 65th percentile.

every break even reg seems to think every other break even reg is bad

HEM not importing for anyone else?

Incorrect, I think I'm pretty awesome

working fine for me at normal 6 max? You play rush though I think?
12-22-2010 , 02:08 PM
Yeah Rush. Just seems to store the 4 files in my HH folder and importing that folder or the files manually just yields a 0 files imported. Autoimport not working either.

It does that from time to time, I usually just reboot and request hhs from FTP.
12-22-2010 , 02:24 PM
rush importing for me but i'm on 1.11.04 which i doubt is latest version
12-22-2010 , 02:43 PM
Recently some of my rush hands have been been imported as regular non-rush hands in my db which is a bit weird, like now when I look in my reports tab there's 1/2 RUSH NL with a few hands but then 1/2 NL with about double the amount of hands, when I've only played 1/2 rush this month and 0 hands of regular. Same story for 2/4 full ring. Anyone else noticed this?
12-22-2010 , 03:03 PM
Reboot fixed it. Strange but I'll take it :P

Would you consider yourself a top 5 reg?
At 100nl rush, I'm fairly confident in myself. Top 5 is hard to say and it's pretty ****ing useless and smartest guy on short bus argument and takes a larger sample size. Before you play a bunch of hands with someone within a short time frame, some people you think are good are actually just catching cards like crazy or you're just unlucky vs their range.

For example, Pxxxlayxxxboy8 is a pretty huge fish I think, but he is also about 90% to flop a set OOP without odds, and thus owns me pretty hard (and I can actually see sd, so I know he's terrible. If someone does this and you don't see sd, then you might think he's good)

sidenote, Lol jk I'm actually up on him a bit it just should be a lot more

/arrogance

you seem to really like the 3bet button though I don't remember you much from before I moved to 200nl and we've played a limited amount. Don't think you're bad though, a lot of players who play like you tend to be tilty and spewy at lower limits but idk.

Also Karam is relatively good, he just plays so many hands that sometimes he spews. Though I think I'm like an average 200nl reg so putting Karam at 65% makes a lot of sense to me.

to be fair in the 6max/FR action he's played vs most of us he's been 16 tabling rush I believe?

but i trust your opinion more than most because i know you're damn good

yeah he might be the most lagtard/spewy FTP pro I can think of, most are just bad nits.

Lee Watkinson and Chip Jett lol so bad

I think our opinions of each other and other are irrelevant for the most part. Even if you play 1000 hands with someone, you might be involved in like 5-15 showdowns at most, maybe we remember 3 of them. For the most part, the things we remember about people will be those that made us go "Oh, that ****er, how can anyone be that stupid". Even if we leave the mental bias out of it, 15 showdowns isn't near enough to have much of an idea.

The only things we're really good at noticing is how bad a certain play is according to our understanding of the game, and ofc the clear ******ation that pays our bills.
