me and my friend are thinking about playing a $90 live donkament freezeout. 28k starting stacks with blinds starting at 50/100. blind levels are only 15 minutes(lol live.) the deal is we would both buyin but we'd cover half of eachother's action.
players are pretty terrible fwiw.

what do you guys think about this kind of tournament where we'd split 50/50
07-24-2009 , 06:28 PM
who cares, it's 90 bucks? you'll have fun and then be pissed, that's how it works. maybe, you could get pissed and then have fun, you never know. just hope that you both don't end up pissed.

I think 5k is pretty nitty still unless your trying to move up. And I think 3k is really fine at 100nl.

but agree with the 200nl

Agreed, 3k is plenty of 100nl. If you get below 2k just drop down to 50nl

I don't know vs a good player I'm more likely to call the turn, monotone flops are usually great bluffing spots.
07-24-2009 , 11:39 PM
yeah but once he just flats the flop raise his hand is faceup as an overpair and he cant expect me to think hes gonna fold an overpair when the 3 pairs on the turn so I shouldnt really be bluffing. Also my range of value hands is so small and he knows I know he knows that bleh ya follo

Lots of people will be bluffing there with the nut flush draw. I think I might fold it >50% but there are definitely a lot of regs that would fold <10%.
