my buddylist is my database, checked every 10 min.

Yeah - I always wonder about players like Acehole and previously, Bert. I mean - I feel like they're really bad and fairly exploitable, but perhaps their style works well against regs???

It's interesting - I feel like a straightforward tag/nit style is probably optimal against the majority of the fish. However, once everyone figures out and starts playing fish exploitive strategy, there have to be interesting counter strats which are likely not optimal against fish, but are far more exploitive to bad / mediocre regs. I'd point to shortstacking as an example of this.

While a lot of this is very obvious, it's also something that I've wondered about often as I've often wondered how those two win.

Cliff's Notes: Bert and Acehole are 100bb shortstackers.

All you have to do against regs is float them and start 3 and 4 betting them light and they'll eventually go ape**** and give you some money.

My ahk buddy list program crashed on me about a week ago. I told it to search for players and then my list disappeared and has been ever since

Acehole used to be very aggressive and a pretty big donk but his game is pretty sharp now and he is a good hand reader.

80ish is pretty standard for LOLmaha swongaments. But NLHE? It's not THAT high of variance...

My ass will be there July 1 - 6. Stoked to hang with some regs around that time.

DAMN just missed top 10. Forgive me if this is like common knowledge but how do you get all this information? is this like EVERY hand that is played on FT at .50/1? how do you open more than 18 tables to data mine?
06-09-2008 , 03:06 PM
I forget, is droneman84 part of the Korean axis of evil? Or is he just another soulless grinder?

Either way, his winrate < 1.1ptbb.

Storman says he gets like 95+% coverage, I believe.

I find it interesting that most of the guys in the top 10 play very very straightforward.

yeah i guess at these low stakes it's what works the best...it's funny though cause sexuelity is one of the biggest losers in my DB...-$791 over 3671 hands

Why is that interesting? It is ssnl. The majority of regs who play anything but at 100 nl (granted, I have only played about 10k hands since moving down just after Mem. day weekend) are absolute fools who don't have any concepts of when to properly make the plays that they make.
06-09-2008 , 03:14 PM
which brings me to another question. what do you guys think the odds are that these 12tabling guys like omggeorgebaker and sexuelity and them are bots? maybe not them exactly but ARE there bots at the tables? there's prolly a thread about this somewhere

lol, 0. there is a swedish sser who may be a bot, i forget what his name is. basically, he only moves in or folds pf.
06-09-2008 , 03:45 PM
top 10, yes! Probably on the 1/2 as well, hot hot week
