lol, awesome

the nittier you are the narrower your "coolering range" gets. this should be fairly intuitive but the more bluffs that you remove from your range, the smaller your (profitable) valueshoving range becomes. a ton of nits aren't aware of this and still continue to felt stuff like TT preflop to 3- and 4-bets and it ****ing cracks me up everytime.

a couple weeks ago a known 12/4 or something 3b/called my utg 4b w/AKo and openshoved a disconnected all hearts flop w/the A. (i held ) i suppose flop is standard but preflop is ****ing awful. you CANNOT 3bet AKo for value there with that image and lol @ flatting the 4bet with AKo OOP

I propose an iggytt v Shrugs match of the ages.

haha, I was playing today and noticed that I was sitting at a table with shrugs, furthermore I noticed that I had taken a note on him (this was from a month or so ago before I even knew he was 2p2). And, no joke, my note says "awful fish, loves to float and bluff in awful places" lol

being a member or a lurker of this forum really doesn't mean a whole lot. plenty of idiots attend college and thousands more could easily sit in on classes or just access the library reserves if they wished.
04-28-2008 , 11:52 PM
I had KJo, I wanted to get the hand HU with the idiot at the table. I could've checked and seen how things developed but the idiot wasn't going anywhere with any pair or any gs so I figured I'd donk out.

has anyone noticed that lately more 400nl regs have moved to 200nl rather than vise-versa?

I have noticed myself playing 200 just to keep the iron man status, lol.
This is my month off and somehow I got 10k hands :P

I've seen a couple familiar faces for sure. And for some I'm pretty sure it's because the way they played there was no way they were winning :P

Edit: And since people are always interested in the differences between levels etc. 200 is really soft imo and lots of people with decent looking stats are not really thinking about why they do stuff.

And the real beauty of 200 is that you can pretty much sit at any table with saw flop > 32% and that there are plenty of those usually (or other good tables).

Oh yeah and I'm not a great player either so the comments should apply to most people posting here (who probably have a skill level around mine).

For those of you wonder what goes on in alldie's head as he robotically plays 17 tables:

i dont get it, alldie is another one of those people who barely won at 2ptBB and 1/2 and somehow decided to move up to 2/4?
04-29-2008 , 07:51 AM
i mean, i'd rather have a fish in his spot than him, but whatever, i don't mind him at my tables
04-29-2008 , 08:01 AM
2PTBB/100 is a lot if you get in boatloads of hands. Even if it's only 50k hands that's 2k*BB each month (+ RB) or 20 BIs so essentially you can automoveup every month.
Or at least try and see how it goes.
