any1 know fulltiltmode?
guy playz .40-.80 deep

running a clinic. I got low sample of maybe 2-3k, but he is up like $1.1k-$1.5k in that frame, so he is running at like .5bb/hand or so. seemes like it is normal for him to win a buy in every hour.

IDK his stats off the top of my head, but I would say 28/20 in PT, though he seems more aggressive than that.

also a dude named mona phora (or something like that) seems very good. was running me over, and really got me on tilt. I still have trouble playing this high, he didnt 3bet much, just kept opening like 80% of hands 4-5 handed.

eventually 3 bet KQs from BB, he smooths, flop comes As 2s Xx I bet he raises, I repop, we get it all in on flop. he has 222 I miss flush.

seems good though. Laggish pre/Taggish pros prolly.

any stats/reads on these two?
Im talking about 160nl deep.

ty guys.

So he won like 15 buyins in 3000 hands? Clearly sustainable.

after double-checking you're right, but he must have been trying something new last night, b/c he was running 28/25 ish.

Table was so nuts, when I flatted with AA, I guaranteed my roommate I'd be 5betting aipf.

Yeah, ya'll seem to run as bad as me. If anyone knows who I am on FT, sit at my table. I'm in a -19BI swing at NL100. It's been super fun. sigh...

Time to go back to HU... screw 6max imo

blacky,

serious question:

how is open-shoving k2o from the sb profitable?
04-02-2008 , 11:15 PM
Blackize should seriously just die. That whole shortstacking thing at ****ing nl200 is just redicilous

And yeah if u couldn't figure it out today just ****ing sucked poker-wise. Complete IDIOTS just getting really lucky after making horrible horrible plays... **** every single one of you ****** TAGfish who has no clue what ur doing but keep getting lucky
04-02-2008 , 11:16 PM
And these so-called LAGs who shove AKo after a nit has cold 4bet tilt me almost as much. You have the raise button, very nice, time to learn to actually play the ****ing game instead of brainlessly raising and 3betting and shoving with no ****ing clue about anything

I've decide I'm no longer going to waste my time and energy on game selection.

Instead, I'm just going to follow gnome around and hope he doesn't charge me too much money.
04-02-2008 , 11:36 PM
but if you don't game select we won't play together that much any more ;(

I have blackize down -$7562 over 200801 hands at 200 nl..

According to the Sklansky-Chubukov rankings, shoving K2o is profitable with a max stack size of 19.999 big blinds if your opponent knows what you have and plays perfectly. So if the big blind is ever folding K3 or calling with QJ then it should show a profit.

I've got him at 23/20/5 over 500 hands. He's been super agro the last few days I've played against him.

Seriously, the most players at NL200 on FTP are so redicilously bad it almost makes me puke

edit: Or dance in joy, depending on how I'm running

also serious question for you or any other short stacker for that matter

why arent all of you playing like 10/20+

all shorting is just assigning ranges and stuff like that, its not like you have to worry about the sharks outleveling you or bluffing you all the time or anything and between the intrinsic advantage of having a short stack, the fish, and the regs who spite call all the time there should be tons of money in it for you and the difference in skill level between shorting 1/2 and say 10/20 should be a LOT smaller than the full stack difference.
04-03-2008 , 12:10 AM
also, vancouver my HM says im down a little over 3 BI to you
04-03-2008 , 12:11 AM
Yeah blackie, if your shorstacking 1/2 there really is something wrong with ur game. No offence
04-03-2008 , 12:13 AM
Your bank is deceiving you blackize. Also, john voight, you are so so horrible. I don't mean to be rude but it's like you are no good at poker. Why are you playing deep tables at all?

his stats are something like 13.5/12.2, there's no way that those are winning shortstacking stats. Shortstacking is pretty much solved, you need to be way tighter than that, and there's pretty much now way he makes money.
