Nuts vs a good reg Nuts vs a good reg

Villan is a good reg, plays 23/19. I have a note that he called my SB 3b from BTN w A3s and flatted KQ4 flop with the NFD but then didnt bluff either 7 or 9 turn/river when I checked both. So I don't think he bluffs me that much post-flop...maybe he thinks I'm a station.

What's best play on turn? Call or raise?

His c/c on the flop looks like AQ, JQ, QT type hand, sometimes JT (though I expect him to cbet this 80% of time). Earlier on he did cbet a AKQ flop with JQ vs me though. Is he ever folding a Q on the turn? If he's not should I be raising turn? If I flat turn and then raise river it looks super strong and he could find a fold with some Q's. Also I may not get max value from say JQ if river is say A

I think u rep less and look more full of **** it u raise the turn rather then the river given that u bet the flop. There really isnt a whole lot of value hands u can have with that line and some river can screw with your value.

Yeah def raise the turn.

I would flat. I think hes fos most of the time with this line and he may try and blast us off a K on many rivers. Im not worried about losing value against Qx on a tiny portion of rivers.

yeah, he probably cbets kx or probably wouldn't lead turn after check calling it, and 33/Qx isn't folding, so if his range can be wider than that then maybe call and hope he improves on the river is best

Lots of river kill action. J T 9 A any heart. Unless those cards fill up villains like Qx.

If we raise, villain will not fold a Q.

Then there is the possibility villain has a strong draw. However I don't really think this is the type of player to be doing that unless he mixes his lines up really well.

definitely raise the turn. You said he is not super likely to go crazy postflop and try to bluff you. The only bluff i see him doing this with is a semi bluff which might jam over a 3bet. Also, you building the pot with the nuts is always good.

Does not compute.

And i dont see why building the pot is much of an issue with these stack depths, hes going to be getting great odds to call a shove if he bets river.

He has a queen here a lot IMO

It might be worth just raising here because there are plenty of potential scare cards on the river so you might not get full value.

I flatted and on river he bet $34 / folded to jam on blank river (4d)

I think this is a bluff significantly more often than it is actually a Q.

You think he check calls the flop with some flushdraw or what?

Looks exactly like a Queen that doesn't want turn to get checked through. I'd raise turn/jam river
