against this range, i cant vbet .. dunno if he maybe calls more Jxss combos and more 9x hands, and plays the top hands in another way. whats your plan vs somewhat unknown fish?

check to induce bluff if you think there are a lot of flush draws in his range or weaker kings. He may even bet with A9/TT/QQ types of hands as well.

without reads I c/c here - not because i think vbetting is too thin but to gather some important infos like how thin he vbets, if he bluffs missed draws and with what rivers he comes to the river
09-08-2010 , 04:24 PM
C/C unless you have a read that he never bluffs missed draws.

till now he seems to be a passive fish, dont think c/c has more value than c/folding or shoving..

Against a 49/0 (sample size?) then just shove. He only has a half pot bet left

was going to say shove, but looking at it in more detail i think check call is clearly a lot better even though it sucks when he checks behind all jacks and all bad kings, theres just tons of double floats he can have.

Effective stacks are $76 on the river not $220 as you've hinted by writing the number behind hero on the river.

River there is only 1/2 psb left. Gonna be hard to convince a fish to fold anything and I think we can still value bet for sure. With bigger effective stacks it may be closer to a check.

Stack sizes. We have 1/2 pot bet left

Another plus to c/c is that you see if he is the kind of fish that bets with SD value. A lot of fish will c/c down with 2nd/3rd pair and then bet when checked to on the river. This is quite valuable info since they will sometimes fold but when checked to they will actually bet

without going into too much thought, i think c/c is superior to jamming, although this might be incorrect.

Limp button ewwwww

I'd cc

Jam he checks back way to often with weaker pairs, certainly isn't too thin either.
