There's not a whole lot to say about it. When he calls the turn he can have a very wide range because you've given us no info to narrow it. So if we assume a random 1/2 player, he can have a lot of 4 combos, and it's very likely he has the straight when he shoves the river. Randoms don't bluff like that, and that's really all you beat.

any merit to check calling river to snap off busted flush draws?.....

i def think there's some value in betting the river, but the value may be greater as a bluff catcher is villain is agg

I can't see myself folding. What are you guys putting him on? He could have 54s (3 combos) or A4s (3 combos) but I have a hard time seeing him check back flop with Ac4c. I think we're going to see weirdly played sets or two pair sometimes. People bluff sometimes too. I def don't like a c/c either.

actually when you think about it, how many 4s get there? 44 and thats about it... I don't see an 18/18 flatting utg raises with suited connectors or A4s it doesn't seem like the type.

i would call here.
