check/f

14/14 is rarely turning his PP into a bluff here, so c/f turn, and if turn is checked thin value on River
10-23-2009 , 06:11 PM
What? If anything this is bet turn C/F river
10-23-2009 , 07:12 PM
I bet turn here to get value from smaller pp's. Hands like 9d9x will probably call another bet here.
10-23-2009 , 08:05 PM
I like to check fold this turn because he will always check back his lower pps than urs and bet his flushs and sets if he checks behind i vbet the river. Villain isnt going to be bluffing this turn ever

Ccboy wanna share wat u had in this hand
10-23-2009 , 08:07 PM
oh, didn't realize this was against me tbh. I don't remember the hand. gimme a hand number or something and i will look it up.
10-23-2009 , 08:09 PM
Lol i didnt think u saw it was u in the hand or u were making a joke about how op should have played it
10-23-2009 , 08:10 PM
i agree with b/f
10-23-2009 , 08:11 PM
nope, i didn't read the sn. i should probably do that in the future though. hahaha.
10-23-2009 , 08:16 PM
just wanted to say that my advice remains the same after finding out I was villain. lol.
10-23-2009 , 10:33 PM
value bet, c/f river
10-24-2009 , 10:25 AM
lol, cbboy making my life hell, ty. I think b/f turn then c/f river is prob best. i ended up c/call turn, which you insta-bet like 2/3rd pot and insta shoved a blank river. I immediately hated my turn call but somehow convinced myself you where protecting worse hands/acting up and would check behind river, but obv youd never not shove river if you bet turn as my hand is pretty face up. my pt is acting up but if i can find the hand ill pm u or post it here if your willing to share.
10-24-2009 , 10:33 AM
okay everybody who says b/f. Give a reasonable range of hands that are worse then ours that calls a bet on the turn. Gogogogogogogogogogogogogo

i will definately share what I had. I just don't remember the hand atm.

tripdeuces,

you don't think that any worse hands are calling the turn? like some mid pairs with diamonds or anything like that?
10-24-2009 , 12:02 PM
I do think there are some hands. The reason why i think Nitrub has a point with c/f turn is because I think 9x9d is not a big part of your range here and I doubt you have many 7s either other than 87 and A7.
10-24-2009 , 12:05 PM
but if i have like A7s do you think i'm folding the turn? is that a spot where I should fold the turn if he bets?
10-24-2009 , 12:09 PM
I think against most villains you should be folding to that turn card if he barrels just because you don't beat anything really and that card isn't the best one to fire a second bullet.
10-24-2009 , 12:10 PM
touche. what about like 8d8x? or like 9d9x?
10-24-2009 , 12:15 PM
I think in your spot i might flip a coin and see. With the diamond redraw but a weak one it does help to consider calling twice and seeing if he will just check through on the river after making a rather suspect 2 barrel. But again I think those hands account for such a small portion of a standard range on the turn that checking with QQ is probably best because you really aren't going to extract from many hands.

Anyone else, check /call flop?
10-24-2009 , 01:46 PM
why would you?
10-24-2009 , 02:58 PM
b/f imo
