I folded, but I didn't feel good about it.

Is this not one of those "A high, no draws hit, bluff catcher" type of hands?

I think this is maybe not a turbo-muck, but it's definitely a fold. AJ or AK are different, but still a fold, but at least closer than A9. A9 is still beat by AJ which could definitely be in his range.

the problem with calling with some unpaired hands like 88 or whatever ist hat he'll occassionally value donk himself with like T9 and spastically value bet (and sometimes bottom pair and stuff like that). so i'd probably say a good T at least.

sigh, it's thin, but you can call, the problem with these guys is that they bluff with better hands quite a bit, i would prob. fold
